I read most of this tread when I noticed that no one had a Skyhawk or roadhawk with a 350 in it. A freind of mine a few years back had a sunbird that we put a 350 buick in it. That was a a super sleeper.
Ultimate 350 sleeper. 1969 Dauntless 350 from a Gladiator pickup in a 1969 Jeepster commando. I can't post links yet though.
Hey I have a good one for you. How about a Roadhawk! 350 71 with a Erskin cam , double roller, Kennebell oiling, and 850 Quad on top. This up to the saginaw 4 speed on 10.5 clutch assemblie on 70 flywheel. Car is in redo , the body needs paint, and decals redo, but all there, need help on frame rails, anyone know about Hbody work? craig
with my vehicles always breaking down..i'll never get to my buick sleeper 82rx7 with 72sbb 350 and 85/6 200r4..so i'm scraping it doubt i'll ever want one later down the line when I get my tts on the skylark
THis car belongs to a friend of Mine.. It has a home built turbo Buick 350.. The car ran like a raped ape but he couldnt hold a block together. we were pretty sure it was in the high tens but never got it to the track. http://www.turbobuick.com/john_law_car.html
I really wish he had built another shortblock and gave that a shot because I think that was a non rebuilt runner that had a fluke of a bad block casting. The Buick 350 block and design is rock solid! There have only been a few block failures over the years and they all seem to be flukes.
