Wild Turkey? You sure? I don't think I have a clear enough memory of it to dispute your version!
Man, I sure wish I could have gone. Hopefully next year I'll have the time and money to do go. Sounds like you guys had a blast.
I don't think Kellie's interested in a SUPER long-distance relationshipou: She's a real sweetie though....definitely a heartbreaker! Thanks for the coongrats on the slug o' beer. That was insane! I was nervous about the after-effects of the wild turkey....no problems, though!! Only the drive home made it apparent that I went too far last night:laugh:
Adam---way to go wild man!! I was a little worried about you man when you didn't hit Salty Grog's with us Friday night..............good to see you're mixing with the wrong crowd.:TU:
Adam is Sooo BadAsss that BurgerKing shut down and closed all their lights when he pulled his Ragtop in the drive up window......So he creatively Painted their blacktop with two strips of rubber :3gears::beer :TU:
Dinner that last night was a blast, and Adam, I was definitely impressed with the downing of that monster beer!:beer And for the record, it was Wild Turkey shots that we downed to celebrate Adam's chugging! I was a little disappointed in a couple of guys that decided NOT to drink their shots! So of course, Doug politely offered them to Bruce Hunter and I, and of course, being the gentlenmen we are, couldn't refuse, so we downed our second Wild Turkey shots. I mean, c'mon Rick........even your loveable BPG Secretary Beth downed her shot! Kellie had a blast all week for sure. She loved meeting everybody and does seem to have a soft spot for Adam! Had a blast, guys and gals. Thanks for the memories, and to Mr. Schmidt, THANK YOU for dinner that night!:eek2:
nationals the nationals were fun, i got to see alot of very nice cars that make me want to go out and work on mine. next year i plan on driving mine out:grin: oh yea, smittydawg.....how old is your daughter?
ROFLMAO:laugh:   That had to be one on the more interesting drive-thru visits I've ever haduzzled: With all the screaming and tire roasting.... hilarious:grin: Sunday night was the best.....so much fun:beer :beer :beer and good folks to enjoy it with. Ya know, I probably would've backed outta the beer chug if Kellie didn't give me puppy dog eyes. That was SOOOOO unfairp Who plopped down the $10 bill for the pot?? Was it Jim Haas? I think I made out pretty well that night...and all I had to do was make my stomach feel like an over-stretched balloon...UGHHHHHHHHH
I, too, am realizing how many folks I didn't meet, in spite of the huge bunch of GREAT folks I DID meet. Best national Buick event i've been to (out of 21!!!)
Kevin - Kellie is 17 going on 30! And Adam, it was our illustrious V6 Director, John Schmidt, that put up the ten spot. And you're right about the "puppy dog eyes" thing.....she's got me pretty much wrapped around her finger, and the worst part is that she knows it!ou:
Boy, oh boy... Don't I know that feeling, Cole. Just kinda gives the big ol' blues a little tear and I'm done!! Ah well, watta ya gonna do?
I'm sorry I missed all the action...................but Jim Ramsey let me drive his Stage 1 down to Pizza Hut and back............I just couldn't resist!! Plus he showed me how he accomplished his signature "HOPS" prior to staging!! What a cool car!
you may know the JR hops but can you do it while staging your car and eating pretzels? JR rules.
I didn't realize I was GREAT. Maybe just great, or Great, but certainly not GREAT. Just bustin' on ya dude. I didn't get to meet half the people who regularly hit this board. Next year I think I'll have to make it a point to wander around and meet everyone. Dave, maybe you can show me the bunny hops. The GS has a really soft suspension. I bet I could get that thing pretty high.
