Just got the valve body back together in my 73. As far as I know I'm in the home stretch and cN start putting everything back together. After it's just a matter of waiting for my new torque converter to show up.

I'll be going to Cecil. Should be the biggest one to date.

I'm not sure how things will work in cecil but if I want to run the 68 down the track a couple times is it possible I don't want to get in the way of the serious guys

You can get tons of runs with time trials particularly on Friday.

Friday is the day to make as many passes you want. We have had guys make over 60 passes on a Friday. Saturday is busy and is really more for the racer but with a few practice runs Friday you should have your car dialed in pretty good and be all set for Saturday. Everyone should be able to get 2 time shots on Saturday before eliminations begin.

BG for me, only Friday nite and Saturday tho. No car either not worth the hassle for just one nite and a day,...or is it hmmmm...

Of course it is Ethan! Load it up and come join the fun. I'm looking forward to running the GSR class this year.

Friday is your day. You can make a pass at will virtually the entire day.

I was teetering on bringing mine, but it looks like we won't be getting in till mid-late afternoon Friday so I don't really think it's worth dragging it all the way there. It's not really in "fighting form" anyway. How late do track activities go on Friday anyway???

As a side note, I want to publicly thank John Csordas for all his efforts in getting us rooms. He's gone above and beyond and again demonstrates why Buick guys are the best! Thank you John!!

I really want to go to one of these but the fall rod run in Pigeon Forge is also that weekend. I may make the 4hr drive up early Thursday to BG to take a look around.
