Host Hotel is the Comfort Inn, 1 Center Drive, Northeast, MD 21901. 487-287-7100 http://www.buickperformancegroup.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=15450&stc=1&d=1458783712
Truth be told, the situation started out in a "Yinz" position, but unofficially I thought "Y'all" would probably end up winning out. After much consideration however, we've decided to go with "Yous Guys".... :TU:
And what a heck of a ride to get to that situation.. I'll still have to leave for the west coast the day after we get back.
Like Larry said the host hotel is the Comfort Inn, 5 minute drive to the track. The hotel is so close you can hear them racing from the hotel at night! When you call, ask for Natasha & mention Northeast Buick GS/GN Club. Hotel is booked but a few rooms will be available in a few days I was told. If you have a problem PM me & I can try & get you in. We usually do a junkyard run on Thursday afternoon for the early birds and then it is hangout time in the evening as everyone start arriving. We do have security at the hotel for the 3 nights for peace of mind with a small donation going to the law enforcement.
I had to book the holiday inn it looked close John what other gatherings occur or where is the BEEF cause I get hungry and thirsty ,, anybody coming thru rt 68 from 79 split thursday afternoon I can tag along in the ''68'' were looking forward to it
The gathering at night will be in the Host Hotel Parking lot, or Woodies in town http://www.woodyscrabhouse.com/ BTW, where is Behind the Steel Curtain ,North East?
Bill, try the Comfort Inn again and ask for Natasha because some rooms will be available because some wedding people are canceling extra rooms they reserved.
The wife and I will be going to Cecil and bringing a Buick this year.....(her Enclave). I have been going to Cecil every year since they had that event, one of my all time favorites. I do hope that everyone realizes we have come to a turning point in our hobby, with scheduling conflicts, people getting older, lost interest in our Buicks and with people not supporting our events or venders we will soon lose more places to enjoy our Buick hobby. We have already lost a couple of the (go to) Buick events and this year it seems a few more might tank because of the poor timing with event schedules. Hopefully our events can survive this years loss of attendance and revenue and return to normal for 2017. Attend whatever event works best for you, but most of all, have good clean safe fun and enjoy your friends and Buicks. :TU: :TU: :TU:
