Are you ready for this, 2005 Buick LaCrosse!

I thought that since Buick was now focussed on demographics the 2005 was going to look like this:

 

I don't see any Trishield on it? Is that a Chevy or a Buick? Oh well, same thing, different badge.

 

I sort of like it, since I'm partial to the open top. Put some chrome teeth across the basket and slap a tri-shield on it. I'm guessing turbo isn't available.

 

Lutz is a putz! The car looks NOTHING like the concept; it resembles a Pontiac Grand Prix with the sharp edges removed. This harks back to the 80's when GM sheet metal was indentical across the various divisions; they nearly went down the tubes. The production LaCrosse is homogenized, commercial drek, without porthles, a "V" in the belt line or a V-8 under the hood; comparing the concept to the reality is a promise broken! What's the matter, Lutz? I hope one night you wake up and see Harley Earl's ghost at the foot of your bed.
