:ball: I want a gig of DDR ram! :ball: Got any old stuff laying around? :Brow: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (coming october 2004) http://rockstargames.com/sanandreas/
sorry man, i ebay my old stuff...i have to pay for my "other" hobbies some how as the bulk of the money goes to the "make the buick cool" fund....
There are so very few movies that break down racial barriers like that. The sheriff is a nig-BONG The sheriff is a nig-BONG The sheriff is a nig-BONG
Not that big into gaming but I spend alot of time playing IHRA for PS2 and NHRA for the computer. Its cool because my car in IHRA has a 455 Buick making 2700 horsepower. Runs low 6 second times. I can dream can't I.
you can dream all you want...and i say a new block and two turbos could bring you into reality! wait now i'm dreaming anyone looking forward to Rome: Total War? i love history and RTS games are just awesome, really makes you think and plan...and this one just looks over the top with the number of troops under your command daniel
PU was essentially Motor City Online, with Porsches and offline play Some tracks from PU ended up in MCO MCO was actually supposed to be Need for Speed: Motor City but EA's eyes got too big for it's belly and decided to try to make it a massively multiplayer online game My copy of PU just bit the dust:af: I bought a newer NFS game, and there were NO in-car views. What's the point? I've never driven a car from 20 feet behind the back bumper and 10 feet in the air, personally. As far as I'm concenred, Grand Prix Legends is still THE driving sim. Update it with free downloads from the GPLEA website, and it's gorgeous. For us Buick guys, there's even a car (Brabham BT-24) powered by a 3.0 liter Repco engine, which is a derivitive of the BOP aluminum block V8! Everyone- Stay away from Hot Rod:American Street Drag There's a GN in it, but the game stinks
So this one isn't worth buying Chris? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...548889-7746513?v=glance&s=videogames&n=507846 I was just thinking of buying that at wal-mart now that the price is dropping on it.
Truly impressive for only $200 I have been waiting for the next big leap n vid cards. http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=65
Thanks Cody! :TU: I knew it was some out of the ordinary but known town. Reno? what was i thinking?ou: N-vid, thumbs down. Get ATI, two thumbs up.
Cody~ No. It isn't worth it. If you really really really feel you have a need for it, I'll GIVE you my copy The controls won't even work. When you try to reassign control functions, the game just goes a little berserk. For instance, when I try to assign the gas pedal to my gas pedal and the brake to the brake, the axes for the controller setup won't get recognised as their proper axes. Step on the brake, and the "controller UP" message appears. Plus, the way the game works is kinda insulting to car guys...and every so often, when you buy a car, it's a Big Daddy Ed Roth-like creation with a dragon sticking out of the roof- no kidding. Fun on a T-shirt, maybe, but not when I just wanted to try out the 'Cuda Plus it's strictly drag racing. The only turns you can perform are the ones that keep you on the quarter mile stretch of road. What's the point of making the game a street setting if you can't turn down a street? may as well be a dragstrip-only thype of thing, but it's not even a reasonably good drag simulator. It's not even a BAD drag simulator
I was thinking it was a MCO type of game, just not online. o No: I would have thought it was better than the "$2.99" game pile since it had the "Hot Rod" name on it.
Hey Any Dreamcast Gamers left out there? I picked up Phantasy Star Online Version 2 at the mall, Brand new for 84 cents!
Hey Cody. It's a sore spot that's for sure. If you're really interested in the history you should read: http://www.barnitos.net/segabase/index-segadchistory1.html Comes down to the fact the Saturn nearly bankrupted the company, and when the Dreamcast came out, a couple bad mistakes and complete lack of money limited its chances.
I skipped most of this thread but I did see someone else mention " Grand Prix Legends " and I am here to tell you that it is the most incredible racing sim out there. It is also probably one of the most user updated games ever.
even more incredible is that the physics engine is from 1998 and it's still just about the best:TU: here's the real thing, Jim Clark at Zandvoort, 1967, making history with the Lotus 49:
here's a good link for updates: http://gplea.racesimcentral.com/ and here's what the player's Lotus 49 looks like in GPL after all the upgrades have been made, Circuit Bugatti, "1967"
