shops that string you along and make excuses for missed deadlines are more common than some of us want to believe.
I have agree with you Henry. I have had a recent "experience" myself. You too ? Anyways, I am currently flooding any and every market available to this "gentleman", and his company. Brutal honesty and all true(had it proof read,lol). I REALLY wish I could find more people that would just tell you the truth.......................... Just too hard these days I guess.
How many shops can screw him at once? You think this ongoing bodyshop story is bad, Bruce tells me he has been waiting another 2 1/2 years for his boat canvas which has been paid for from another GS member's upholstery shop (and Bruce's son even works at this shop) ou: Now that Rodney is dead I guess it is Bruce that gets "no respect"! Most shops take your work on as a sideline (in their minds). Get to it when they can type of deal. The insurance check work always comes first (bread and butter). To give you a deadline and nowing their not going to meet it is NO VERY HONEST !!!!!! :rant: :af: That type of behavior I would not tolerate....SUE HIM !!!!
No This Is Not Over!!! Well, I'm Back!!! :beer The body shop guy was supposed to have brought the car in the shop at the end of the month , we will see. I will be down there today or early this week. Bruce I think has had enough "BS" from this guy. If the GS is still outside this week I hope to get that car out of there!!! I have not had the time till now to drive out to the painter of my 84 wagon to see his lay out in his shop so I can make recommendation on a new body shop unless Bruce has one lined up. AL.
ah. This sux! Three of the last four jobs I have done have come from another body shop. The Nomad I am doing now is the worst. Guy spent $12k and I stripped everything he did. I'm mostly wondering why Bruce hasn't posted in this thread since June 1st. o No: Sure would like to hear what his current thoughts are. I too, can't believe the car is still at the shop.
