Yeah John, no feathers or crumbs on me from the Penguins nest. You did an excellent clean up job on it. I'll definitely give you the top rating on Yelp! What an awesome race car! It was pretty hot in there, and I really think it's louder inside than it is standing next to it.... still though... DAMN Steve, your car was definitely the hit of the party!!!
So lucky to have been in Florida at the same time as this event. Couldnt have been a nicer day. Good food, cold beer and strong support from the local Buick community. Everything from full race to turbo cars and the classic cruisers. In this ever changing world we live in it is a pleasure to know that you can travel so far from your home and find people you can hang out with like they are your own family. If you ever get the chance this is one get together you dont want to miss! Thanks to John, Alex, Scott and Debbie for a great great time. See you at the Nationals.
The food, if you didn’t stuff your belly then your arms must’ve been cut off. We had slow cooked pork and chicken for some delicious sandwiches. There were baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, and some other side dishes. Several people brought some awesome homemade side dishes. Dessert? Lots of people brought different kinds of dessert. Lots of people left here with very full bellies!
I would like to give special thanks to my wife who shredded the pork and chicken. She set up the food on the tables in the garage, and cleaned up the mess. Love you Babe!
The 67 is a Skylark with GS scoops on it. Skylarks came with a chromed potmetal grille, while GS's and Specials had the plastic grille.
Great food, good company and great looking cars....what more could you ask for. This is their 7th annual and it seems to get bigger every year.
