This doesn't sound right to me. No answer on the titles is a no bid in my book.

    Now he added this.

On Feb-01-07 at 11:04:39 PST, seller added the following information:

I RESERVE THE RIGHT END AUCTION AT ANY TIME

It must be a miracle!! Now he says he has titles. What did he do, print them off his computer?

Ok enough is enough! Yes I am bitter about this whole thing, who wouldn't be! He told me I could buy the cars and lied about it. Told me they were sold to a guy in Washington, another lie, He told me he did NOT have titles, now he does! I have been totally honest with all of you about this situation!

Hey Randy, all you had to do was call me and give me first shot, tell me you want $25,000 for everything and if I had the money we would have struck a deal, if not I would have said thanks for calling and giving me a chance and good luck on e-bay!

Someone should ask him to FAX copies of each title (today) before bidding. Just my opinion!

There are a lot of very viable questions asked above and there is past history with another new member in reference to these very cars that is pouring over onto the other conversation here. The way I see it, this thread is about information.

The guy signed on to answer questions. The seller has nothing to hide if he tells the truth to MANY on this thread who would probably consider owning the cars. Personally, when I know more I might consider lining up a semi and my checkbook for a nice trip down south....

Well guys, yes I invited him on the board. I called him and told him he could be helpful on here with some answers about these cars because this was a very big event for us Buick people. I also told him that some strong collectors of Buicks were members on here so it might be benificial to him to answer questions on here. I told him I could not swing the whole thing and basically bowed out unless the auction didn't go well then he might have given me a chance to buy one of them. Now, had I known the reserve was so low instead of what he told me the cars were possibly worth on the phone, I still may have considered them.
Then, a bitter member that apparantely had been promised these cars years back showed up and posted his concerns and anger. Wouldn't you? I probably would have done the same thing. Also, someone posted a question if the owner had titles for the cars. Is that not a valid question? Yes, it got asked more than once, but the owner posted several times after the original question was asked and appeared to avoid the question. So, I also got curious and asked it. I see nothing wrong with that.

If in fact Mr. Hansen got lied to he has a right to be ill. If he didn't have a deal the owner has a right to be pissed off about what's been happening on here. I personally think it's a tuck and run if you know what I mean?

If the man says he has the titles than he must have the titles. If he dont have the titles than you dont fork over the $100,000 thats all.

No nothing wrong with that, but he's so busy defending himself, give him a chance. He's obviously answering questions on his auction site, maybe that's where the questions should be asked? This is not entirely directed at you pooods.

My popcorn is buttered. All I wish that this sale goes fine for all parties.
My opinion is to sell off some cars for a restore... may haved doubled the sell price... and kept a driver for retirement.

Must be. I recognized the pic of the X with the rear frame pull as being on the "Buicks in the Rough" section of George's site.

I just went to buickperformance.com and you are correct, those are the same four cars that I had an agreement with Randy Jackson to buy for $2000. This is the storage facility in Foukes AR. on HWY 71 called "The Storage House" My intention was to buy all four cars with what ever parts he had, pick the best X of the two, take the appropriate parts from the other cars to restore one X and then sell the other three cars (one at a time) on e-bay to help fund the restoration. The way this auction is going, I could have had enough to restore one X and pay off my two daughters college tuition and Christmas! The cars do have potential, I counted at least 3 WG wheels, original GSX steering wheels, GSX grille emblem and dash emblem, 4 speed consoles, rear wing, hood tach. I almost sent the vins for a Roberts report to see what they really were? The first or last GSX built??

I have calmed down now, still not a happy camper. I spent ALOT of time, energy, effort and some expense driving over to Texarkana to talk to Randy about these cars, also with his brother-in-law. Even talked to Randy's wife on the phone many times..."Hi, it's Tom the Buick guy from Little Rock calling again" Back in college, 1983 I had a 70 yellow GSX 4 speed Stage 1 and always wanted to get another one. Oh, well. Randy knows the dirty deed he has done and he has to live with himself and his money, I truely feel sorry for him and his wife. Life is too short, know what I mean?

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

    You got it!

    That GSX is my avatar.

KDC has all the info on these cars.

From my impression.....looks like the two GSX cars will need donor bodies.

KDC also sent the pics to our site for the

    Buicks in the Rough Section.

$66k and still going......gonna say this could go to $85-95k
