All awesome cars guys!!! I love them all. Here are my two babies with me in the middle. My father drives the electra mostly and I drive the gs. I am located in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador in eastern Canada and you don't see too many old buicks in my neck of the woods. If you are ever on the island look up Vernon Smith in Swift Current, NL and check out his collection. One of the best in Canada. He has a 1953 Buick Skylark that will make you drool. Gorgeous collection of antique cars!!!
Here's a link (see below) to Vernon's website showing his collection of cars up here in Newfoundland. Absolutely gorgeous!!! Lots of icebergs on the go up here this year as well if anyone is up here on vacation. One chunk of ice is about the size of Manhatten Island. http://www.vernonsantiquetoyshop.ca/
I know, all of Vernon's cars are spectacular. He is a very astute collector who only collects the best of the best. He has a very valuable collection. I think he is up around 50 cars now and counting and he is just starting to collect some muscle cars. I'd say he has a 1970 GSX Stage 1 on that list of cars to get!!!
Hey everyone. Heres my 72 Skylark. Rebuilt 71 350, 4 wheel disc brake conversion, among other things :TU:
Thanks. It has come a long way being an ex vinyl top car. Its nice to actually be driving it instead of building it now!
Yes. The licence plates are way to big. The one in front i have shaved a bit to get it fit nice. (that means it is even bigger than in the photo) I wish i could use US licence plates !
