image.jpg Well this took WAY too long. No one has 10-32 3” eye bolts anymore

    No one

    New strategy

    Give me my downshift please

Next step: remove all the crummy shorty header flange gaskets, because one of them is certainly causing a big leak, that or it’s rod knock

One bolt was nearly hanging on by threads it was so loose, so I will work on solving that

    Get Remflex gaskets.

Is it $35 for just one? Or does one order come with a full set?

    That's for a full set.

Were those shorts on there when you bought it or did you install them?
You can use cheaper header gaskets but you need to constantly re-torque them.
As soon as they loosen up the gasket blows.

We used Milk of Magnesia on hot sections of jet engines (USAF) and it works as both anti-seize and locker.

Oh god, what have I done...:D:D:D
Thank you very much Jason for hanging on to these rims and tires, I have terrible, terrible ideas churning in my head for the future tires already;)

I think you’ll hook up pretty well with those combined with the weight of the car. What size tire?

I just hope I don't bring the quarter down on it. Its currently sitting at ride height in that picture, but raised up by the diff.
    It's a 8 X 15/27.5

Just to clear up because I was having a bit of difficulty understanding (long day) were you saying it is a 15x8 rim with a 27.5” tall tire or a 8” wide 27.5” tall tire on a 15” rim?

    Uhhhhhh that’s the same thing.

15x8 rim, and a tire that is 27.5” tall designed to fit that rim

Alright I get what you were saying now. I asked because I know some people run tires that are wider than the rim as well as rims that are wider than the tire. For example some of the guys than ran an outlaw 8.5 tire class around my area years ago a few of them had 8.5 wide tires on 10” rims. I’ve also known guys to run 275/60/15s on factory rallyes.
