The rear is stock expect for the bags the front needed some fab work due to moving the shocks outside the stock spring location.I'm chatting to ride tech to see if I can get them to make me one of there muscle bar sway bar, not sure if they will though.
I'm looking at how to update the rear end, staying with torque tube, think I will keep the stock panhard bar also, but would like to update the shocks! I'm still researching it though. :dollar:

'55 was the last year for lever shocks on the rear. Maybe, you could convert them to '56 shocks.
I'm looking for a rear sway bar as well. (ADDCo)

It is kinda been there, done that.
But I still like the look. I contemplated painting my '70 flat black for a while.
Gold would be sweet too though.

Great looking car you have there, nineteenfifty5.

I have air bags on my '56 as well:

I have an Airlift kit with Dominator 2500 bags all around. The brakes and the rest are stock though. I find that it doesn't take very much pressure to get the rear up to ride height. Also, the rear seems very bouncy on uneven roads and such.

It looks like you have the fatman dropped uprights and a disc brake conversion (Scarebird?). Did you have to heat and bend the steering arms? I think I read that somewhere.

Also, doesn't seem like you had to trim the spring pocket at all. Not sure how you pulled that off. Just make sure it doesn't rub at any point in travel.

Your master cylinder/booster conversion looks very well done. I'm hoping to do the same in the near future. Do you have any tips?

My '56 came with tube shocks. Perhaps you can use those brackets/fab up similar ones. www.1956buick.com has detailed pictures in restoration gallery.

Sweet sweet sweet ride u have 1956century I love the color

We had to use smaller type air bag in the front ,my system is from Air ride Tech .those guys are awesome, they really took care of me. awesome custom service and very helpful http://www.ridetech.com/
    disc are easy standard http://www.scarebird.com/

yep went with fatman those guys are great also http://www.fatmanfab.com

the master takes a some work fad a plate for mount remove the air plentum and re work the brake peddle arm to go around the steering column. I got mine from http://www.abspowerbrake.com I'm going to run dual exhaust which i can do now that the old master is gone.
