Cory, at this point we have the turbo TSM and TSO series invited. If the GSE guys can muster up 8 or more cars, we'll run that too. Those are my only heads-up plans at this time. Jim
Thanks for the reply, I thought for a moment we had a BB outlaw class. Well hopefully with time we can show case the fastest of BB in a heads up forum. The event sounds great:grin:
So when can we expect hotel information to be posted? I like io get a jump on things. My brother (Todd69GS) and I look forward to meeting everyone.
I've been asking around if there was going to be a GSE race there. My car will be done by then along with time to test. I won't set the world on fire, but it's one more car on the list. I would like to know now if there is going to be a GSE class so I can do the little odds and ends I need to meet the rules. If not, I'll just show up in "outlaw" mode! (Whatever that is) Have fun.
Count me in. With me and Jeff Kitchen we only need 6 more cars. Jim - when will the payouts be posted? Thanks, Gary Laughlin
swap meet? I'm in either way, but has are their anyplans for a swap meet? An all buick swap meet is like the anti-christ of swap meets!! I look forward to it, too bad we have to wait 9 months. :beer :beer :beer Joe
I would run but I have STG 3 Heads ? But I hope to be there Anyway. (Its been 10 years !!!) Wayne. 70 STG 3 70 STG 1 Conv
Jim Corey and his buddy Rick have some fast Buicks . One is a wagon. I would compare them to the TA wagon --high wheel stands etc. Nitrous ! Will they have an opportunity to run? Would be neat to see those paired off against the TA wagon. Also another local guy with a GN stage 2 is an 8 second quarter mile car. I for one would love to see him run John Schmidt. John knows him and I bet John is game. Will that be possible ? If so I will make sure he gets notice.
HEY whats UUUUP !!!!!! Gary & Mark First that baby blue sure looks familiar Mark. Its great to see the car still around.I look forward to seeing it in April. Gary its great to here from you. After the THE 93 nationals. I got away from the G.S club for O 8 years. I have a stock :Brow: 70 stg 1 conv & the other car is the same one back in 85-93 at the G.S. Nats. Ive got the motor ready and hope to have it ready for BPG Nats. Its a GSE car except for STG 3 Heads. Hope to run 9.50s ? 10.5 Slicks??? It SHOULD have 800 plus HP. Mark see you in April & Gary hope to see you in August. Wayne
Wayne, If you are out around town at any of the cruises PM me and let me know I could bring the car out and we could meet sometime.
Re: here is the info.. JW, Are you going to have a class for GS Clones? My car I bought from Scott started it life as a GS 350 automatic and now is a 455 4-Speed, AL.
hey guys i was reading in the build sheet the rules for two of the race classes and i saw that there will be non buick powered cars to participate as long as they are in buick bodies. I'm curious of why that is allowed? thanks guys. bob
