Hard to believe I had it in my hands this past weekend and it will be in yours by this weekend. :TU: I saw the car at the GS Nats in 2007 before DL bought it, found the buildsheet in 2008, turned a few wrenches on it in 2009, and stored it until 2010. Now it's gone and I feel kind of empty, and it wasn't even my car. :ball: Enjoy it Mark. Not many (if any) 26,000 original mile GSX's around. :3gears:
Thanks James, maybe you can find the build sheet in my next car . Mark will get the build sheet , but I'm keeping that screw... DL
Hey Guy's, does anyone know if Lloyd Luther is on the board, met him at a couple of the nats years ago. He had bunches of GS'S, GSX and Rivs back then. Wonder why he sold one of his pize cars ?
I remember Lloyd as the nicest person I had met at the nationals. First met him in 1999 in Columbus and saw him again at a couple more after that. Real easy to talk to and had so much info and history about our cars to share. Lloyd was one of the original GS men back in the day with John Chamberlin and Richard Lasseter and all the founders of the GSCA. I have had buicks since I was 16 years old and at 47 I still have a couple. Was told over the years how buick men were a cut above the rest,a different breed than the rest of the car people and meeting Lloyd confirmed it for me. The reason I am saying all this is without people like Lloyd who truly love these cars and preserve them like the treasures they are there would not be any original cars left. Congrats to the new owner, that car is one beautiful piece of Buick GSX History !!!!!!:beer
I have never seen Loyd Luther on the board or any of our southern Indiana members that he hangs out with. I agree Loyd is a very nice gentlemen and have known him for many years.
Mark you sure picked up an awesome car, if you would like to trade it, I have a nice yellow 69 gs  kelly
