1 of 7 350 cars in the Registry

This car has only traveled 26,444 miles, believed to be the lowest mileage documented GSX in existence. The car was delivered to <st1:city w:st="on">Vista</st1:city>, <st1:state w:st="on">CA</st1:state> where it remained in the gentle <st1lace w:st="on">Southern California</st1lace> climate until the mid 80’s. Lloyd Luther who purchased the car from the original owner then transported the car to IN and it has been in climate controlled storage since. The car is documented by the Original build sheet, which has been decoded by Duane Heckman.

The factory option load is very nice; it features WA5 GSX package, WA7 front spoiler ,& Strato Bucket seats, Full length console, Rally gauges and clock, Tinted glass, 15inch chrome wheels, Power Steering, Power Brakes and Sonomatic AM radio, Factory n25 bumper. The car does not have air conditioning. The previous owner added NOS boxed control arms and a rear sway bar.

This is one of the nicest original A body’s I’ve ever seen. No rust ever in this one, floor, trunk, rear window channel, core support are all super clean. The paint below the stripes was freshened up by Then and Now Automotive in correct Cortez Gold lacquer in 2007. The Stripes are all still original! A New gas tank and fuel sending unit were also installed. New KYB shocks were installed and detailed in the correct color.

A New complete <st1lace w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Gardner</st1:city></st1lace> concourse exhaust system and original chrome N-25 Tips were installed.
It also features a New set of Goodyear Polyglas G60/15 tires with less than 200 miles on them. The original Spare is still in the Trunk.

The interior is all original and immaculate. The dash pad is soft and supple; the tinted glass is in excellent original condition and is not scratched. The dash bezel looks restored, but it’s original. A new front speaker and a restored AM/FM radio have also been installed, along with a new flattop <st1lace w:st="on">Battery</st1lace>.

Last month I drove the car 175 miles up to <st1:city w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Norman</st1:city>, <st1:state w:st="on">OK</st1:state></st1lace></st1:city> and it drives like a dream. If you missed out ordering a New GSX in 1971 here is your closest chance to owning a like new one.
There is a lot more to tell, the complete history of the car. It would be easier discussed on the phone for serious interested parties.
Price is a very reasonable 45K. The car is located in the <st1:city w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Dallas</st1:city>, <st1:state w:st="on">TX</st1:state></st1lace></st1:city> area.

Thank You Rich, coming from a restorer that means a lot. Fortunately the previous owners were very respected Buick enthusiast and gave her the best of care.

This car is incredible. Low miles, #'s matching, great color combo, and documentation.

This picture should make any 71 GSX or Stage 1 owner very happy. There all along, but not documented for 37 years until four little screws holding the sill plate were removed at the Dallas AutoRama in 2008. :TU:

I would prefer to sell to a board member before offering to the general public. I have a few NOS and New repo parts that are also included. Call with any questions My cell is 972-754-1920. I work evenings, but off Fri/Sat. Buy this car and save yourself 50k-100K trying to restore a rusty car.

Hi John. In fact it is. Jacquie, and Glenn transported in their enclosed trailer all the way from Norman to Columbus. Some great people for sure.:TU:

Car is still available. The two gentleman that were working with me, are working on selling other vehicles themselves. Auto trader Classics picked a '71 Cortez Gold car To feature as a Rare and Valuable investment ! Price reduction to 45k!

I don't recall mine being SCO, it was just dealer ordered. I thought SCO was for some variation of what was available like your black one.
