Would that mean the modified cars could be parked along with the others instead off on the other side of the parking lot ?
X2 (??) I've been poking around the BCA forums (you know, now that I'm a member) and man, I'm pretty sure my car, along with many of my BPG cohorts, would cause a vast many of those guys to absolutely stroke out! I don't need inducing strokes on car enthusiasts on my conscious, I've done enough bad stuff....
I have no idea of their parking plans. If it's anything like Flint was, it would be by model/year. What the heck guys, Duane's bringing the X-Camino, what are you afraid of?? Besides, some of those guys NEED to have a stroke or two...
Shawn, I wouldn't sweat it too much, if they stroke out, that's on them:grin:, not on us. Unfortunately, as some people age, they become increasingly narrow minded and resistant to change. If they aggravate to that point, again, that's on them. It's not like Duane didn't warn them.
Ok Brad and Larry. Given that, I'll throw the last minute temporary "noisy exhaust" that was on it in Norwalk last year (versus the magnaflow that's on now). That's should be plenty stroke-worthy, given that it about rattled my fillings outta my head....
Maybe we should sic JOHNNO on those starch shirts !!! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-NO------------JOHNNO !!! :3gears::3gears::3gears::3gears::3gears::3gears::3gears:
Thanks for the info, I'll check the show out on Sat. My car is not a show car so I won't be entering it but I will enjoy the drive to this Buick event. Tony
According the the AACA thread I linked to earlier: Cars will be grouped by era.... 60's, 70's, etc. They did mention assigned parking spaces. If you're registered, you'll get a space assignment mailed to you before the event. Suppose they could also group cars by specific year or model, I haven't read anything to that effect yet. The registration application doesn't ask if the car is modified, so it may be parked in with the stockers.
My car isn't a show car either .. but don't tell it that. I just put it out there for others to look at
The X-Camino is signed up and ready to go. Duane PS. It isn't a show car either but do you think it will make a stir? It will be interesting to see how it will be received this year, and gauge it against the reception I got back in 1999 in Columbus.
