no new best ET today but new best for this new converter...we got the launch tune/timing figures out and went from like 2500 rpm and 5-6lbs to now being able to hit full boost just on foot brake extremely fast and up to 3100 rpm so far did hook at all even footbraking so this winter its getting some da shocks all around so i can finally use and hook all of this power went from a 10.8 down to 10.11 spinning with the new launch setup so very happy to what will come also 139.x mph is my new best mph
Almost wrecked the car pretty good this weekend when some rain fell on the track as I was going down it....no new updates but upgraded for this winter will be some good shocks all the way around so it will hook and leave, plus getting a 80mm turbo with bigger ar and exhaust wheel which will let my motor breath and rev higher cause of so much less back pressure
I am going to try to beat you to the 9's on December 21st. But, my car will never have MPH like yours. Let alone what it will do with that new turbo.
good luck on the 9's, I'm out of town hunting for the rest of the year on the weekends, Trans and mainly traction kept me from 9's all year. Hopefully I can still get some shocks after I get done with this new turbo. And like 95% of the time I won't be making any more power with this new turbo, just need it to reduce back pressure and lower iat's, it'll also take a few lbs less boost to get to the same power level which wil be nice too. only 2-3 times a year will I actually use the turbo for its potential at more power
There is a guy on The Bullet who is making extraordinary power on stock bottom end 6.0s. He goes by the username stock48. Have you seen his Nova and his truck? Nova is running nearly 8 flat at nearly 160 and his 4500 pound truck is mid 9s. He has got a great formula.
And when life happens it sucks...had to cancel the turbo cause truck had a speed sensor problem, and while fixing that found out that transfer case is trashed and so are the bearings for the front irs diff Guess Buick is on the back burner for now...I still have shocks so it'll atleast hook and run a 9
Were you saying that the truck you use the pull the Buick to the track broke down? Is your car still street legal these days?
