I know some won't like this, just got a new air ride system installed in my 55 Super, I also had a new master with booster installed. Im building a custom so next she is off for some paint and a new interior. though you guys might want to see some pic's of the air bags. :bla:
Who cares if they dont like its what you like and I think its kool. I cant wait for the painted pictures next.
Love the air ride. I'm running air on my 71 and I love it but can be a little bit of a pain if you lose a bag or get a leak you can't find.:beers2:
Not a big fan of the air ride on newer cars(1969 and up) but absolutely love the look on the 50's and older...What color is it going to end up? Interior color?Tell us more...
cant make up my mind I go between pistachio green with white top to all pistachio green, to flat black (yeah I know) ou: to gold, Thats right gold!!! maybe a flat gold . I like red for the inside . I have all the trim and it's in great condition I plan to install all the trim I dont want to have the smooth look.
The pistachio green with white top and a matching color interior would be the cat's ass...That would be an awesome color scheme..
The setup looks great. How much of that is original to the 1955 suspension? Nice Roadmaster wagon, looks like that has some serious meats tucked under the fenders! :bglasses:
If you want that low to the ground look and still want to be able to drive into a gas station, that air ride is the ticket! The green and white get my vote. I love the 55 and 56, and I love a hot rod / custom. Post pictures as the build continues. I would like to see the paint and the interior. Perfect engine choice by the way. Only thing that could make it sound better is if you said it was getting a 4 speed! Auto is nicer for most driving though.
The gold would be reet man. With those red rims and spider caps with a red interior. That would be amazing. I love your car
