Jim Isn't that 18% split between the buyer and seller,so the seller netted a little more than your calcs? Maybe I'm wrong since I never went to one. gary
Gary-- it is 8 from the seller to BJ and 10 from the buyer to BJ. Since the selling price they post is inflated by the buyers 10% you had to back out the 10% and the 8% to get to the buyers net and then the 2500 for travel, transporter and lodging and registration. If you bid by phone it is 12% for the buyer.
Phill he will be in at least 44k by the time he gets home. For a number of states add another 5.6% (2K) for sales tax.
Just saw lot 709.2 sell on tv owned by local muslce car dealer --nice car 70 stage 1 hardtop went for 38k was on there lot for around 35. didnt work out well for them on that one. they have a couple more cars crossing ,including a stage 1 conv former owners on board. Iam curious to see how they do on them http://www.musclecarsnw.com/carDetail.cfm?aid=142&sc=year&so=asc
I'm just shaking my head on the prices for the GS's as compared to other comparable makes. I thought this '70 Stage 1 would have brought more. I was interested in that car until I found my '72 Stage 1 convertible. I will be watching for the '69 Stage 1 silver convertible to see how it does as I considered that one too.
That gold Stage car was beautiful on TV! A great buy at $38k! Seller probably was pissed. Now way would I take a nice car there since they don't allow reserves.
The silver 69 is coming up next and will get some deserved air time.:beer So much for that crap. two cars and back to a commercial, b*llsh*t, that is just wrong
Thats about what I thought it would go for,35-40k.Even though I love Buicks, they don't demand or command big $$$$$$$$.Personally, don't think GSX's should be six figure cars, how they ever rose to the asking prices now by sellers is beyond me,somewhere around 60-80K would be an appropriate dollar.Same goes for GNX's,to young yet, would'nt pay over 50k for one.Hindsight,in 03 had the chance to by a 9k mile one for $28,500.
fricken BJ did it again gs vert. next and they go to a comercial. what a piss off. that's it no more Evil Jackson . Johnny
$58,000 For the 1969 Silver Stage1 Convertible :TU: Guys, watch it on your computer without the commercials and you won't miss a thing. ou:
I agree, I think Speed plans it this way. I can hear them now " Time for a commercial Bob, Ok its just a Buick, go ahead, cut to commercial"
