cool. I sold that 70 lark in 1988 to a chick I used to hang out with. My friends would tell me they saw her burning rubber all around town with it. She beat the living hell out of the car and never checked the oil. I can only guess she got used to driving with the oil light on and hearing lifters rattle. I heard the starter was hanging by the wires after she blew the engine. The block was vented. It was still a pretty nice car but it went to the junkyard after that. I kicked myself for not grabbing the rear diff and the perfect front bumper and grille I had installed before I sold it. It was probably recycled two or three times by now. Who knows, I could still own a piece of it in one of my current vehicles. As for Spencer Buick, a google search turns up nothing but there is an Office Max at that address now.ou: I called and the girl said it has been there at least 10 years. Eventually I'm going to go to Cornforth-Campbell Buick (was Wilen-Cornforth) and see how far their records go back. When I bought my Cat it had a license plate frame with the name on it. It's worth a shot anyway. I'm also going to ask DMV if they have any previous records. Who knows... I may get the information I want...o No:
Thanks to Mark Macoubrie, most, if not all, of our dealerships are listed on his website - http://www.buickgsx.com/Dealer Codes by Zone.pdf You'll need Adobe Acrobat, as it's a PDF file. Thanks Mark!
How about Bartlett Buick, in Buffalo N.Y.? Don't think it still exists, but I did a google search and found some womans "Face Book" page, that used to work there in the mid 80's. Curious to see what she knows, but "Face book" and its whole concept scares me a bit.o No: Thanks for any help. John.
