if that dealership is going to relocate, you might want to ask if they have any old parts, literature, etc. they want to get rid of. i have seen many dealerships throw away tons of good stuff when they moved, or were sold. doesnt hurt to ask.

Great idea , I first think of brining the car to the dealer next spring to ask about the window sticker and some other stuff , but I'll better call them BEFORE they move :beer .... monday night I'll give them a call ! :Brow:

if they have any old new car order forms, i do believe they would be of interest to Duane. i have a gut feeling that he would love to have some more of those. almost anything buick is of interest to someone here.

far too many goodies got trashed over the years. if we had all the nos parts that got trashed, we could afford to throw away everything ever listed on ebay. good luck !

    Henry,

Either I lost the copy you sent me or I forgot to send you a PM. Please send me a copy of the dealer if possible. I will pay for the copies and the shipping. I picked up another set of codes for dealers 70-81. I have the dealer codes, names and cities but no addresses. I will match them up and add the addresses if will send me the copy. This is going to take some time to get translated into a database. There are over 4000 dealers.

Henry, don't give up hope.... I stumbled across this NOS dealer plate while searching for '76 pace car info. CARS had it (only one) and it cost me $18.
This is the dealer that my GS was originally sold through. I have attached a magnetic strip on the back of it and put it on my trunk lid during shows.. I drew the line at drilling holes in my lid to mount it :pp

Mark, i cant subject the book to the xerox machine a second time. making you that first copy nearly destroyed the book. i can only look up one at a time now, cant repeat what i did before. i do hope you can find the copy i made for you. henry

edit: Mike, thats a good idea, mine was originally mounted on the trunk lid with drilled holes. my sister did find me one at Carlisle, but it has no studs on back. your method solves both problems. thanks, henry
