Hi guys, Im needing a 1970 GS455 or Stage 1 frame for one of my stage 1s. It has to be a big block frame with a very early build. I need it to match a build date of 09A and it would be very nice if it was a roller with rallye firm ride option. It certainly doesnt have to have the Rallye Firm ride and it doesnt even have to be a roller as long as its the correct date that I need. Thanks very much and any help would be great. Well, I could get it picked up. The codes are usually behind the drivers side rear wheel on the side of the frame. Probably have to do some cleaning to see it. Could you give me the details? Like rallye ride control? condition? Thanks a lot.
It did not have the rallye ride and the frame is in good condition.I will see if I can see the # you talking about,right now the body is still there.BrunoD.

Well, look at the trim tag on the fire wall. What date code is there? PM me a price for the whole gs455. Itd be just as easy to transport a whole car....if youre interested in selling it. Yes they will have the same numbers. The gs350s and skylarks have different numbers. Big block frames have different numbers than the small block frames. Thanks for the help.
A frame that early may be a "CC" rather then a "BW" frame. Offhand I don't remember when the change took place. I have the rear frame section from a 70 455 Coupe, I will check the date on it. Duane
Motor mounts and part numbers....thats all, but the numbers are very important to me. I do realize that the vin number is on the frame too, but you cant see it when looking at a car underneath.
According to my assembly manual, the change took place on or about 9-16-69. My GSX Prototype is also a 09A and it has a "CC" frame.
