My 455 Regal (83) fits the stock PF-24 just fine. The damn lower rad hose sits right on top of it though, and makes starting the filter on the threads a bear--you have to lift the hose and thread the filter at the same time.
i use purolators on the buick and motorcrafts on the ford. no trouble yet. (the filter are indentical except for the branding...3001 and FL-1A)
