    I'll take that bet!..

I guess the best thing to do is just drop the whole bulldog thing , yeah, that's the ticket. Jim Burek

    ????????

The best thing to do, would be to get the blocks out to the people that laid out there money for all these years to go racing with one of these cool blocks. Enough BS'n everyone and step up to the plate so these guy's can go beat on there cars. I haven't seen a pic of Doug H's car wheels up for far to long. Chris

Ok to get back on topic,

    Bob,

What size blower is that and how many PSI's are you running with it? That sure does look like a BIG pulley! Nice to see one of the blocks being put to use (according to your Sig).

The blower is an f1r. Not that big really, my buddy Steve has a f3r on his wagon that thing makes 1800+ hp on pump gas the thing is a beast at 4400 LBS he has been over 165 MPH but has still yet to figure out the traction thing. I can't tell you which pulley is on it in the picture ether a 53 or a 50 I have both and at the dyno I left my 56. Depending on the pulley with the 53 at 6500 it is like 14LBS and the 50 is like 17LBS. The motor has a static compression ratio of 9.25. The motor is really very mild. Once we get the ignition problem figured out we will be in heaven spent several hours on a chassis dyno with no avail but we ruled out almost every thing so MSD I hope has narrowed it down for us. We shall see tomorrow night. The pass at the nats that I have listed was a really easy pass 1.58 sixty foot the car has been 1.32 naturally aspirated. And the shifts were at like 6400 and thru the traps at 6600. Which leaves some on the table the one pull we made with a different ignition it made peak hp at 6900. And even with that ignition it was not very happy to be honest. This blower thing is a learning deal for sure I just can't wait to lean on it and see what happens

    Sounds good Bob,

The blower deal is a huge learning curve that's for sure. Those are pretty impresive numbers for not yet having the thing dialed in :Brow: .

Not to but this tread in the wrong direction, but what plugs and what gap are you running?

Feel free to pick my brain if you feel the need.

I don't think Bradshaw has the money to fill his commitments to the buick community, there is NO reason for taking this long. Sorry just calling a spade a spade. Chris

I've been seeing this dribble WAY to long!

Jimbo, It blows me away how you attack me no matter what I say or do. I know one thing for sure, the only reason you talk the way you do to me on here is because your a loud mouth that likes to stir up the crap. I guarantee if this computer wasn't between us and we were face to face in person you would not shoot your mouth of like this. I do not say anything on here that I wouldn't say to your face. If you think your getting under my skin your WRONG :boring: I think most of your problem is you came into this deal part way through and have a no idea what your talking about. Unlike me you have had NO dealings with Bulldog on this block. I can fill 3 block orders right now. Its about 2 years later and still no block. What happened to the 2 weeks I was told 2 years ago  I see many people on here talk about bad dealings they have had with company's, this is mine and guess what, it is the real deal and it did happen :af: I will never forget these words (Send your cheque the blocks will be ready to ship in 2 weeks) If you or anyone eles on here wants to attack me for speaking out against someone for shaddy business practices :Do No: Well I'll leave it at that. Jimbo the next time you think you must shoot your mouth off about something you know NOTHING about, raise your hand and place it over your mouth.......Chris

I would not go so far as to say there is no reason for it to take this long. Have you ever tried to manufacture a block? I am as upset , probalby more so than most anyone else. There are a multitude of things that can and do happen. Some of those things are political in nature. I am not trying to make excuses for the delays. I do appologize to everyione for the delays. I am doing everything on my end to get and keep this thing rolling. You have no idea how much all these dealys are costing me. I'm just tired of hearing that the block will not happen, It already has happened . I wish Bulldog would be more forthcomming with information, but he's not, sorry, I'm not him. I try to give information as I get it, then I get bashed for it .
I will say this, I am very pleased with the alum block I have in my possesion, so much so that i would not mind seeing them all be done in alum. After boring it out to 4.5 inches, it was noted that the cylinders are very stable, more so than some of the other aftermarket blocks out there from other companies. Incidently, in case anyone is interested, this alum block weighed 130# when delivered to me, now , with aprox .080 taken out of the cylinders, it now weighs a measly 118 pounds.

By the way, I was told when this whole thing began that there was not a big enough market for a Buick v-8 aftermarket block, now it seems there is enough of a market for 2 companies to make them. You are welcome. :TU: I guess if worse comes to worse , maybe I had a hand in bringing this about. For that, I will never be sorry.
Maybe things have'nt gone exactly as planned, but then again, does everything in life go as planned? Hell, we've been waiting for the new edelbrock heads since april, and geez, they have the money to get them out, what's up with that?
Sorry for the venting guys and gals. Jim Burek I am on your side.

No need for you to appologize for dick bradshaw

Jim, no need for you to appologize, you have worked very hard from your end and for that I say many thanks :TU: Dick should of been honest and straight up from the start of this deal. 4 or 5 years is way way to long I don't care who you are. These people that fell for dicks sales pitch are hardcore buick drag racers that have in most cases been sitting on the side lines for the last 2 seasons and soon to be working on there 3rd season. Its NOT fare to keep screwing them over like this. You and I both know it doesn't take this long to do a block. Bottom line is if dick would of been straight up with me from the get go I wouldn't have had huge expectations and felt like he was only trying to empty my bank account. I would love to have that block in my car racing it, instead I'm sitting here trying to band-aid up a factory block hoping to get some good passes in without walling my car.Chris

Hey Jim, I really don't know you, but my hats off to you. You have done what no man has done and that is to step up to the plate and get this block project started. I too look forward to the day that it is available in either steel or aluminum so that, we here can play with. Keep up the hard work. :TU:

What a dumb a$$ you are!

First off I have been getting pm's from people thanking me for standing up to you because people are getting sick of your meaningless attacks and dribble that comes out of your mouth, Second off you are not a buick guy at all! You've never had a fast buick in your life ever! You are the loud mouth chev guy that we have all heard about. You pay people to do your engine work, you have NO experience with the products on the automotive market, I do. My comments on the edelbrock heads were simply my knowledge of the past products of theres I've seen and all I was saying was that they are nothing more than an entry level head for a street car, If you want to get the job done you will need to step up to a bull dog or TA head. As far as slamming Dicks products that has not happened, yes I have voiced my opinions and experiences over the bussiness side of things with Dick and that is my right, would you like me to post all my legal documents for distributorship with bulldog. Last but not least, I do not have long warm showers with Mike at TA, heck I've never even met the guy but I will tell you this, Off the top of my head I can not think of ANY one person that has done so much for the buick community ever! I know when a set of his heads show up here they will be second to none, and I'm sure when his V8 blocks show up here they also will be second to none and it will all be done with his blood, sweat and MONEY and know one will be strung out. Jimbo the story I'm about to tell 100% real. There is a guy with a 69 gs rolled into town here and started shooting his mouth of about how he had to go to a chev so he could keep it together and make some real power, yup his kick ass bowtie was a blown big block chev dyno'd 850hp and was going to set the world on fire, every time we seen this guy with his big old fat tired bowtie donkey he would run off at the mouth about how buicks are this, that and the other thing well he finally showed up at the the track and a board member here (standup 69) WITH HIS 69 gs 400, small tired street car, 494 stage 3 and laid a beating on him he will NEVER forget It was very embarrassing for him. That car has not been seen since. The same will happen to you! Now please go jump in a lake you bowtie trouble maker every one is sick of your crap here :moonu: Chris

There are alot of victims in a situation like this,You do not have nearly enough knowledge about this to defend DB.
You obviously have singled out Chris to do your internet battle with,You add nothing to these threads.
Hopefully you're feeling thick about the guy you stood up to on the message board,Because we get nothing from your stalking of Chris' posts that are
    based on first party eperience.....
