Oilpressure at idle (warm), this engine has a little higher idle rpm then a street engine.

    THE DYNO SESSION!

    Process will go like this..

    Get there and hook up

Break in cam - 33,000 revolutions of the engine.. (dyno has a rev counter on it)

Change valve springs- right now it has light cam break-in valve springs on it.

    Adjust rocker arm lash

    Testing starts then..

    1. cruise test- to see how your carb does with part throttle air/fuel mixtures- so we know how the carb is feeding fuel under lighter loads thru the primary circuits. Ron will load the engine to 30, 60, and then 90 HP..

2 Once we get past that, and it's not way lean or way rich, then we go to a check out pull.. typically 3500 to say 5500 rpm

    3. If all goes ok, we will do a full pull- 3500 to probably around 6000 rpm, or wherever it starts to "tip over" or drop the HP curve.. this motor may well be about 6200 rpm or so.

    4. Then we get into tuning.. timing changes, jetting changes ect as required.. this can be as little as 2 pulls, or as many as 4 or 5.. depending on how many changes are required.

    5. Once we have reached the best HP point with no spacers, we will try a carb spacer.. and then maybe another carb, depending on what we are seeing.

Once we are statisfied, then it's time to go home.

    Typicall session is 3-5 hours..

I made a short compilation of the Dyno session:
Mike from TA was watching this Dyno session also.
We were up from 22:00 untill 04:00 o'clock watching this dynosession or our engine, we have lots of internet lag so the
video is not the greatest quality, but thats ok as long as the engine is great quality!:TU:
It made with our 950CFM carb and 1 inch cloverleaf spacer 647HP and 617torque.

After the Dynosession the engine was checked again, and when it was ready it was crated to ship to Europe.
    I orderd at TSP also a STG2 build TH400 with a 9" 4500stall convertor.
That was setup for this engine.

Here you can see the MEZIERE electric waterpump on the engine, it arrived after the Dynosession.

And here we just picked it up at the UPS Airport terminal.
The crate just fitted (like a glove) in the bed of the Chevy Pickup.
Luckily the pickup has airride, so we could level the rideheight at the rear.
Cause this was a heavy crate.

:idea2:Call me cynical but since I am starting my build I notice these things. Is it me or are those lifter bores off center?:Do No:
    BTW Beautiful engine!

Maybe just a tad, but those lifter bosses are plenty beefy compared to most I've seen. I had to look at more than a few blocks to find one that looked like this one.
