Yah cant go wrong with an IR, in fact it is what i prefer most. I have an IR in 3/8ths and a Mac for 1/4" and the only reason why i chose the Mac was for the zero clearance head. The Snap-On air tools i had were ok and the only advantage i ever saw was they do not free wheel. The IR 3/8ths gun i have has serious power but will free wheel for 2 minutes after i let go of the trigger and by then you are chasing the nut around that it threw off the socket. I also have a Matco 1/2" gun but i only bought it for the warranty which was 2yrs. Otherwise it is identical to an IR with a Matco name on it. But it is an awesome gun and has never let me down. IMO Snap-On air tools are over rated, but Snap-On does make the best ratchets, sockets and wrenches on the market except maybe SK tools but they are hard to find.
