Are you going through withdrawls. I have a few things already in the works. Lets say that the BBQ pit will be a bit bigger this year. :TU:
I see we snuck a new thread in here! We get better at knocking them off more every year (the X'ers) :spank: Final Winner this year!!!!!!! :3gears: T-shirts again!!!!!!! :beer Food again!!!!!! :TU: Racing again!!!!!!!!!! :3gears: Winning again!!!!!(of course) :Brow:
Wayne, This year that backhalved camaro is going down. It is primarily your job so you better start dreaming about treeing that car! Lets say BBQ Trailor... Not a little pit. Also a change of pace possibly Fajitas ..... (Food Selection still up in the Air) Shirts should be available. As for the trailor speeches - We will do that too. By the way, Wayne here is something to dream about
Hey guys, its still me Wayne. Just changed my screen name up a little. Its what I wanted to begin with, but became available, so I took it! Phil, talked with JB, and he has the first set of heads, so other should be soon coming!!!!! Hopefully I can beat on my own car a little instead of my good friend Davids. David, will not hesitate to help you out as a driver still if you ever need it :Brow: Too sweet of a car to pass on an opportunity like that :beer Setting the car up soon for the rear end while waiting on the engine. He has the transmission and all the pieces I was suppose to send, so its in his hands now. Hopefully this thing will run like I expect it to :3gears: :3gears: :3gears: Phil, you using that fender? If so, keep your eyes peeled for some more :eek2: I want both but need em nice. Hollar at you guys soon :beer
Wayne, good to hear from you. Glad to see you getting the car sorted out. Look forward to seeing it at the track this year. Cross your fingers and you may actually see mine (but it is a long shot, lots of stuff to do) Here is an updated picture of it.
Thanks Wayne, Maybe I will get it done before the bash. I think I still have a lot to do first to get it there.
I am sure you already have help, but if you need another hand around the shop do not hesitate to call. Mine is down right now as I am deciding who will rebuild my carb. That paint looks nice, Jarrod :TU:
WOW :jd: Is that door panel painted black or has it been chromed? From that angle it looks chrome. :bglasses: Gonna need shades to look at that one. :TU: Good looking paint. :TU:
Hey Jarrod and Cliff, Thanks for the comments on the paint. I have a lot of detail work ahead. I am presently cleaning the trunk for repaint once i get that done. I will go to the front end and start detailing it. (Jarrod knows all about this type of work). :TU:
I am waiting too.Looks like the next one I will be attending in a 350 skylark. It will be slow, but I don't care.I have a 455 in the shed ready and waiting for me to build it.Then maybe in 06 I can race it against the GN with its TA aluminum motor.HHMMM,guess I better build that 455 to haul some serious ass!
Wow For the past few days I've been thinking about coming over here to start talking about '05, but i figured "Nah, it's way too early." I see I'm late!!! You all know I'm ready!!!
haha Nick! About time you come in and see us... Well Here are a few updates.... Temple - Was bought this past spring by a gentleman named Greg Duffield. He has done some improvements Such as redoing the starting line and part of the track. ( the starting line grooves were getting pretty deep). I have started talks with greg to let him know that we are planning to come in april again. This will help him plan his scheduele out a little and help us out as well. As I said before we have a BBQ trailor this coming year instead of a backyard grill. If you have any input you feel would be beneficial please let me know. Some of you have been to the track for the last couple years. Lets make it a better event and build on what we have started... Goal for Attandance over 45 cars (45 cars came last year) :3gears:
Nah, I think Dee is gonna have the convert sorted out and kill us all (and the X-ers) this year Right, Dee?
