There the same mounts. Your ac box may hit depending on the valve covers.

The v6 other than missing 2 cylinders is the same size. Ac brackets and all that from the 6 need to be swapped on the v8. In my lesabre I have more room so I can use my 72 brackets.

You need to use the mounts off the V6 on the 350... the 72 350 mounts will not work.

We really do not know what mounts he is using but if it is not working then it is liekly not the v6 mounts....

I did a V6 to 350 SBB in my 83 Regal, but because I was building a racecar and fabbing up stuff was not a problem, I moved the engine back in the chassis until it was right at the firewall. I used the 350 engine mounts and fabbed the frame brackets. I know for a street car someone may not want to do that but every inch you can get that weight to the rear is a big advantage for traction.

Dude telling me the water pump pulley won't work and that the alt and power steering pumps are siting up too high for the hood to close? Anybody else have this issue?
