    I washed and waxed the car the other day. Once I get the brakes bled out, I'll take pictures. I used mothers carnuba cleaner wax. The car freaking glows! What a difference.

    Thanks to @Deogi2 for the brake warning switch from #380! Got the switch installed and the distribution block back in. All the lines needed tweaking to get them threaded back in straight and square. What a PITA.....bled the brakes out and we have a pedal! And the brake warning switch works again!

    It was so nice taking it out on the test drive. Pedal is nice and high too!

    A little more reverse restoration....

    The alternator I put in which was a nicely restored 1100774, I had painted the fan and installed an NOS 408 pulley. I also used a new nut and washer to install it.

    I recently acquired a bone stock, untouched 1100774 with, you guessed it, all the original hardware.

    So I swapped over the fan, pulley and all the hardware. Looks the part now....1975 all over again!

    I saw some 52 year old barn dust on eBay the other day for a Buy It Now of $19.99 with free shipping.

    You should grab it and sprinkle it all over that engine bay.

    Let me find the link....

    I used to rent some spots in a former chicken coup. You put any car in there for three months and it came out looking like you dragged it out of......a chicken coup! Dusty and dirty...

    So here are two power boosters side by side....the one on the left is an original. Thr one on the right is the one thst was in 508. As you csn see the left one has the delco moraine stamping upside down. And a 281 date code. The right one says 0087. Is the right one a repro?

    @BUQUICK any ideas?

    Reminds me of when I was a kid collecting baseball cards…”need it, need it, got it, got it, need it, got it… now factor in 3+grades of quality.

    Did that distribution block too. Really a pain.

    Question for you guys after all my brake work.. Do the brakes grab hard like a new vehicle or is it like halfway between manual brakes and pwer brakes now?

    Brett- you forget where this car came from... It was already chock full of Idaho's finest, Buick specific, Stage 1 specific, GSX specific, barn dust! Couldn't get anything better than that barn dust! Although Smartin may have cleaned MOST of it, I am sure there was still enough floating around... LOL.

    I didn’t do a full roto-rooter on it.
