Been to the track a few times since I started this thread,and I have been having problems with 60 ft. Cant get it to go any faster than 1.58 in the last 10 passes. The car wont launch smoothly footbraking under 3000 or it stumbles. Now the threads are strippied out on the float bowls of the thing. I gotta say,I have had no luck at all with the BG King Demon. Instead of like a holley,it has inserts for float bowl threads in the main body and now they have pulled out..its garbage. If anyone has a Dommy they can get rid of,let's talk.
Got the brand new holley 1050 on it,9375 model. Float stuck after 1st burnout,caught fire. Used dry chemical extinguisher on it. Nothing got burned to the point of replacement,but there is alot of cleaning to be done...Fish
Just got it all back together yesterday,should be at a track this weekend. Does anyone know a good way to wash off the dry chemical fire extinguisher agent off my motor? The stuff is a PITA to clean off,even brake cleaner isnt doin much...Fish
