Gary, congratulations on your awesome achievement. We really need this type of intake available to complement the track Eliminator heads, with out having to use adapter plates, do you know if JM will make these intakes for anyone who wants one, or is it a custom One off deal

    Thanks Tom.

I imagine John would take an order for a manifold like this. He did a billet Buick manifold for Dave Macintosh's Buick also.

I know mine has a lot of hours in all the "hand finishing".

Made my first two runs last weekend at an 1/8 mile event.

It went smoother than I expected. We had 10 degrees out at the hit and the leave was relatively docile.

    Went 1.25 / 3.52 / 5.52 at only 114 and then 1.24 / 3.49 / 5.48 at only 113

I had an issue with me and/or the shifter and couldn't get the car in third gear. Both runs ran up against the rev limiter at 8200 4.4 seconds in.

Reluctantly I'm switching to an aftermarket shifter and hope to get out either this weekend for a full hit on the 1/8 or possibly the 5th of next month for a 1/4 mile hit

I'm confident that it will take a bunch more power at the hit and I'm looking for a 1-teen 60 ft at some point.

I think it's got an 8.3-something in it.

Was glad to see you out, car looked great at the track nice and arrow straight.

I think I would try one more time somewhere making sure you are letting off the lever when shifting how we talked. Doesn't make sense to me as I thought and talked about how it could have high gear on the jacks, have it in the burn out box, but not have it on the track. Doesn't add up.

But as we spoke I truly again your to the point where you go racer all the way, but still with clean and class, it's not like that car with that motor is going to go driving around time or to the ice cream shop

It was exactly what I thought...Just me hanging on it instead of letting the ratchet work.

D42 looks great. I hope they are successful for years to come.

Good to see you guys back too. Car looked good on that .78 in the first round last weekend.
