I am excited to start a thread that will document the journey of bring this GSX back to being a road worthy and cool ride. I will update from time to time with pics and information. I received my Documents today from Wayne Roberts about the car. No real surprises. Very low option car that kept the price way down. It also makes it easier to restore without so many options to find parts for.

Huge thanks to Dave Tumas (Daves69) for once again helping me with another Buick.

Day1 bringing the car home. We had to stop on the way back for some BBQ.

Congratulations on the car! I am very envious. Probably a dumb question but the Roberts documents show B3 and B2 + B4?
Is that just always showing? I know so little about true documentation.

At the top is showing all the GSX exclusive features & then all the regular options (i.e. B3 4-sp. & B7 consolette) that were included in the GSX package. Below shows the options on this particular car (in the case of B4 long console IIRC that was a no-cost option on a GSX).

I think it would be kinda interesting to keep a running cost as you go 0n here also…..I can also understand why some would not want that known too.

Lol! I created an excel spreadsheet of all my receipts and kept a running cost along with logging my free hours of labor :) I’ve been debating on listing when I’m done my restoration.

I have (now had) multiple spreadsheets for all of the cars. This past fall, I decided I was putting too much time into numbers and finally threw them all out! LOL. Now I just decide what I need, what I would like, and what I don't need and go from there.. Much more fun that way!

Ryan- if this one IS a keeper, then you know what to do. Just take your time and enjoy the restoration!
