TA Perf SP-1 & Alum Head for the 350

Just to let you folks know that we are going to design and produce a single plane intake for the 350 based on the 455 SP-1. We have been talking on this for some time. The Cad drawings for the SP-1 455 will be the starting point which can be manipulated. These two intakes size wise are close. The drawings will be modified to accommodate the smaller cubes.
The 350 head will follow. This will be more involved because I have some ideas and changes I would like to see from the factory head. The odds are high that we will produce a Stage1SE and a Stage2SE series 350 head. This will not happen over night. The pattern shop has been very busy with other commitments. Remember all your purchases/support is what makes it possible to take on new projects, even if youre only spending a couple bucks. It helps towards reinvestment in new parts. Without those couple bucks this can't happen.
Comments and ideas are all good stuff.
Everyone at TA Performance thanks all of you.

I'd like to reiterate what Mike said here! Frequently we can buy parts from other sources, but if we support the Buick vendors then they can continue to support us. If buying from TA is a reasonable option, do it! Your local parts store will not undertake endevours like custom-engineering 350 heads.

    -Bob C.

p.s. My motor is still running great, Mike! I'll be ordering a couple of parts soon.

I cannot say enough positive things about how TA has taken care of me and my customers in the past, this is coming from an old Kenne-Bell customer myself.

My very first GS blast was in a 1970 350-4 back in 1977 and it left me speechless. That car could burn more rubber than I could afford.

The small block Buick V8 is about to blossom because of the perseverance of the small block community here and abroad.

    Damn, this will be fun!

Very cool announcement indeed!! Looking forward to the intake and heads!! Any idea if you will keep the stock rocker set up, or go with the chevy style adjustable set up?

great news! I'd just like to know if any of the dimensions from the 350 stage 1 intake will be used? Mainly for port matching, but gaping/ stud position etc.

honestly this is great - I'm setting aside some money for those bad boys, new valves, rockers, etc. and one of those TA performance cams :beers2:
