Hi Andy, welcome aboard. The best thing to do in order to get some attention is to start a new thread, maybe in "The Bench" section.

Replying to someone else's topic with your new questions limits potential responses.

I can tell you this. The stage2 components were never ever shipped from the factory in the trunk. It's a big misconception that is floating around. Think about it...there would have to be some sort of stg2 document that came with the car...no such document exits.

It doesn't have the most important part, the stage 2 heads or headers, so its just a stage 1 with a b4b intake and possibly a 478gear at best, although I doubt it even has the gear, and the carb is a newer model not even clost to what would have been original sorry but you were fed a line of bs

Like Devon said, it would beneficial for you to start your own thread concerning your very interesting car. And we are here to help. But since you haven't yet...

Better pictures would help. So far to me the intake looks to be the later design? Could be wrong but the flange doesn't look like it has the notch in the center.

And the more I look at the slip fit header picture, it looks more like a Hooker brand header where it wraps around the frame.

    Better pics please!

Well... 1: Since this thread is now old and irrelevant.
2: Stage1nut is not responding nor making a new thread.

I will add this. It does look to have a step on the intake flange, making it the early version.
The carb is either a later design or have later designed fuel bowls on it. The early Holley's didn't have the word Holley embossed on the bowls, and the needle/seat had a taller brass adjustment nut...which could have been changed with a rebuild kit. Original Stg2 carbs would have list # 4781 through 4781-1. Later years would have # 4781-2 and up.

M/T headers would be correct, not the Hooker headers which it has. The production Stg2 heads were not released during the 1970 model run that I know of. So the stg1 heads would be correct. Just a few 1970 "test" cars received the vertical boss heads...
Which brings up another question that I will ask in the Stage2 head thread.
