This pic wuld be the VIN between #1 and #3 the SS would be between #5 and #7 Probably could not get the camera to take that pic or its unreadable
Looks like new blood @ $2800. It will not be so easy or hidden now that the VIN is posted. It is now in cyber records.
I always check the bidders % of bids with the seller. There are two bidders that have 100 % bidding with this seller in the last 30 days. I always think that the sellers are running up their own items. Sometimes you see they get bid exact increments in smally amounts and then the bidding stops right when it exceeds the top bid then sits then the bid difference is small and then another usually the last bidder for these shill games sets the reserve price with the last bid within 24 hours then it get relisted due to a dead beat buyer allegedelly. I need to be a FBI or CIA pprofiler.
I bid it up to $2500.00. If it wasn't so far away I would have bid more. I'm one of those bidders who have had 100% of my bids with this seller, Who I don't know from a man in the moon. I haven't bid on any other items in months. I also had no interest in re plating another car, or selling the plate itself. And I'm not smoking anything except cheap cigars. A restored 246 carb recently sold on E-bay for $2000.00. It had a lot of bidders. cjp69 Just brokered a deal on a 246 carb and distributor (which this car doesn't have) for $2800.00. I have seen a couple of OO restored rearends for sale for $1500-$1800. I have paid $750.00 for a set stage1 heads, that needed work. I'm more surprised by people paying 40k for a skylark cloned into a GSX, or 35k for one with a Stage1 emblem on it. To each his own. :beers2:
X 2 with your thoughts. People don't understand if you have a car missing the rear or the carb, bb trans etc, this might a way to have your part and sell the rest to get your money back.
Wow $2,900, and I sold my complete 72 Stage1 four speed with matching four speed and non matching 455 two years ago for $6,500! Not much rust either!
