    Donovan Sadly without Buick now.

TuBBed! I would like to see a summary!

As it stands what are the specs of this build up?

    Bore and stroke
    Fillled or not
    Type of rods
    Type of pistons
    Actual compression ratio
    Flow chart of heads
    Valves size/type
    Total timing
    Type of Rockers
    Cam specs/cam type
    Intake
    Type of headers
    Type of mufflers

Just so folks don't have to wade through pages of chat for the goods. Or if I'm pushing it, how bout also each stage with power output? Possibly a new topic and make it a sticky?

    Please?

Hmmm....if I told someone that a street driven 350 will make 546 horsepower before all this happended, I would've been laughed at. To see this engine make this kind of power shows there's more than one engine Buick produced that can be used for high horsepower applications. With continued interest the Buick 350 can be competitive in the high performance world, we just need the support and dedication to follow. Awhile ago, I comprised a list of people who are interested in seeing the production of a single plane intake and aluminum cylinder heads to further the power our Buick 350 can make. If anyone who is reading this is serious on getting something going, please post your interest on here....http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23471

    Thanks guys :TU:

    Rob,
What are you going to end up using for an intake? The home built one is only a testing loner correct? Are you going to have a sheet metal one fabricated, or are you just going to run the TA or Poston intake until a better and much needed single plane is developed? Maybe now after seeing what a 350 is capable of TA will look at developing an SP-1 or Wildcat type intake for the 350.

I'll be running the TA intake with the 2" spacer until a single plane comes out. :)

    Very Impressive

I would not have thought the intake would have made more power at a lower rpm, but this is great news. :beer

On HP TV they threw every fancy race part they could get free from summit into a 383 stroker.
    It did an amazing 405hp 5500 442tq 4400

And I bet by catalog price it cost as much or more than this engine.

This kinda blows the theory of the Buick 350's horsepower potential being limited by its small bore and small valve size:grin:
AWESOME horsepower AND torque at only5700rpm, WITH factory iron heads, stock block, crank, rods!!
    Excellent job guys:beer Mark

HAha Al... you're right, but when the displacement is no where to be found, then there isn't much choice.

Plus, in order to show up those imports at the AutoX's and road races, I might want to keep as little weight on the nose as possible

The HP to Displacement ratio is just amazing and should make it and all around killer with its weight savings in any motor sport.

[Off Topic] Buddy has a black 80's sleek looking 4 door rwd toyota that has a twin cam motor in it. He never does anything with the car and I want it bad. Course I can't say that and must wait till he doesn't want it.

I just keep thinking " Put a Buick 350 in it" and name it Buick Toy.

Great work on that 350!!! Hey, we're still willing to put that engine in our Apollo. It is currently sitting without an engine as we have ours out getting freshened up!

    546 HP....COOL!!!

Isaac what kind of power does your 350 make! It must do pretty well to click off a 11 sec time slip.

    here is a question.
what kind of trans can we hook this too?

can a th350 handle the power? due to its lower torque range? what would a good torque converter for this combo in a STREET strip car?

With an automatic Turbo 350 it'll more than likely need beefed-up. I believe Jim mentioned about using a 3500 stall converter.
