I agree, lots of errors in the show, here are a few examples: Pontiac 350 HO, Bore was listed as 4.00", actual bore is 3.88" Stroke was listed as 3.876", actual stroke is 3.75". If you use the dimensions they showed you would have a 389 CID "350". Also the HP was shown to be 330 HP @5500. The actual rated HP was 330 @5100. They also made mention that the Pontiac V8 grew from 278 CID to 455 CID. It actually started life as a 287 CID. However your average watcher of the show would not even catch these details. I also noticed a lot of footage of those matching 455 Olds 442's as they talked about "small blocks"
And the ultimate insult of all was........ On the cable guide for this show, they listed some of the featured cars including a "Rallye 350 Olds" :rant: :rant: :rant: :rant: :rant: :rant: Now that really pissed me off. Other than that, though.......... :grin: :grin:
