Gonna have to pass this year. Car has fuel starvation issues. Driver has low funds issues. See ya next year.
oooooo... grudge race, I like it. it does mean that Chris is actually going to have to fix the car though... so I'm not sure how to place my money.... Kevin winning at the track, or by default of Chris not showing up? :idea2: I'll have to bring out the wee-oh-seven to play.
well since you asked, I'm waiting on the above person to order us said airhorn gaskets as he needs some too.
I am sure that the carb guy will be at the track this weekend. Save yourself some shipping charges!!!
Not sure if I'll have a car there or not. Having some interesting "noise" issues with the Camaro. Put the car on the hoist. Looks like the Natives had there way with it for a while,.... likely jumping railway tracks. Oil pan is a little caved in and knocked three corners off the converter cover.   Peter
that really stinks, Pete...... of course, if I were you I'd get all loaded up, then send Owen in the house for something, leave, and drive the LT-1 at Stanton. like I said, that is just what I would do.
Is there something special about the airhorn gasket that I am missing? I got a whole carb rebuild kit at the Advance auto last year in Martin for like $12. And I practically rebuilt my carb with it on the car just before the parking lot party! :beers2:
Sorry to hear that Pete! I hope there is a special place in hell for those bastards!!!! Did they do any suspension damage to it?
Pete, that sucks about the Camaro, but I know a canadian with a bright yellow COPO 427 Chevelle, a silver 70 LT-1 Nova(1 of two sold in Canada), and probably some other's we're forgetting????? Come on Peter, I know you have a substitute you can play with:Smarty: o No:
play with mine... Just got back from the emergency room, for the last 4 days my leg went nuts swelling and my temp shot up. Doc sent me straight to the Emergency for a scan. both big veins had clots from the accident. Turns out one of them broke off and went through my heart. (That was the pain in my chest the other night.) Sent me home with a do-it yourself bloodclot remover kit. Have to inject myself in the stomach twice a day . Cars ready I'm not. Don't know whats going to happin. depends what they say thursday o No: Rich - Thought I was going to the wrong light.:idea2:
Tim, Whoa ! Glad to hear that you are alright.I think you got real lucky there. Next time remember to walk towards the "shimmering chrome handle". Rich C.
That really sucks, Mark. I almost hit three of them the other night. Reasons not to drive my W-30 at/after dusk: 1/ Deer. 2/ Bugs. 3/ Reduces the life of my T-3s. 4/ In the dark, no one can see how cool I look.
Sorry to hear that, glad that you are ok. Check out this video; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7Zsz7uc5j4&feature=related
