Guess he didn't want a local guy looking at it ( eyeroll) are you interested in this car ?

That dealer from the hood in Tulsa . I see the okla tags ..
What's funny is 30 years ago I snagged a 69 Cali hood from a car painted that same orange ..

Please not overlook the third possibility. It could also be a Carolina.

    David G de-modded....

Yes, but is still missing the requisite emblems.

Don, I'm not currently looking for a car. Probably wouldn't look for a project either, when the time comes.

Funny, that's an exact description of the GS California.

max... true... however, no GS emblems on the sail panel, 12 rib front grille, etc. Plus, this post is about 3-4 YEARS old...
The person who posted- Mkiley- has owned several of these cars, and has probably looked over (top to bottom) about 20 more...

Understood. I have only had one... I knew the post was old, but couldn't resist pointing out that the VIN on GS cal is the same as the Special Deluxe from Fremont. When I first bought my car (1990?) I looked it(VIN) up in some book that said Special Deluxe L6. I was bummed until later when I realized the GS California VIN is the same (and my v8 #s match.)

Also, I do not understand the comments about the grill? David seemed to suggest the grill on a GS was different from an Special deluxe, and you are also saying something about 12 rib?

The grill in the one photo of that car I can see looks ok to me, minus the GS badge.

Maybe the Craigslist photos that are long gone showed more.

Huh, thanks for showing that. I never noticed it before. My 68 GS cal grill does in fact look like the GS grill pictured above...

The Special grill was also used on the Sportwagon.
