Hi John , where are you in Maine , north-south ? St-Georges(pop. +/- 35000) is only minutes away from the Maine border (Jackman) the car is in Beauceville aprox. 10-12 minutes north of St-Georges . St-Georges hold a very nice car show during the labour day week-end , last year was their 30th . If you have the chance and not far from there it's a good one to see .
Donald I am about an hour southeast of the Jackman Border gate. I am located right at the southern end of Moosehead lake. I am having a Barbeque in the beginning of August for any Buick folks that are interested. Let me know if you are and I will get you some info.
1966-67 Rivieras and Toronados do not have vent windows. A body Cutlasses have triangular vent window frames while 65-68 full size cars have a "flat" part at the top of it. This is a 66 B body full size Oldsmobile. Here is a picture of my 67 Riv to compare the roofline.
I finally have the answer ! I went there this afternoon for a car show (All GM) and the car hasn't move an inch ! Some peoples have the right answer congrats :TU: It was , and still is in fact a 1966 Oldsmobile Delta 88 , who seem to be out of the road since 1976 acording to license plate still there ....
Ready for a little trivia question ? I went to a car "cemetary" last week-end and I took some picture of a Buick in barn , . Can you name the model and the year ? note that this time I do have the answer :Brow:
Looks like a 69 Lesabre, based on the front bumper. the front bumper/grille/hood and fenders are just a wee bit different from 69 to 70. EDIT: Must be a 68? the solid center of the front bumper (at the point) must be the giveaway?? I believe the 69 didn't have that section. Larry '70 Electra Convertible
