Hello Buick fans ! I took a picture last week-end of a car which I think it's a LeSabre (1965-1970) , but i'm not 100% it is a Buick o No: At some angle it look like an Olds . Does someone could confirm that it's a LeSabre and if possible what year/model ? Thank you for your time Donald
Re: .. It looks to big to be a Cutlass. I think that is a 65-67 full size, either Delta or Delmont 88/98. Looks like a new paint job, too. :TU:
It looks like Alan's coveted Buick Superbird with the cobrajet 460 in it!! p But seriously, I think it's a 66/67 Olds "a-body" too. o No:
I say it's a '67 Delmont 88, looks too big to be a Cutlass, & the rear window doesn't look like the coved window A bodies had in '67.
It is a 66 B Body Oldsmoblie, The wipers aren't hidden, they are missing... (note the panel behind the hood) The vent windows identifies the car as a 65-68 B-C body. The roofline can't be 67-68 The front end can't be 65. The rear end can't be a 98. So it must be a 66 B body! I have no idea which model, It might be hard to tell with the missing trim. I'd be surprised if it was a Starfire (doesn,t look like that) ! My guess would be a Jetstar 88 (Don't we like cheap cars in Quebec) Where is it located?
Yes, I'm getting tired of it! At least it is melting now! I took my 67 for a short ride on a sunny day last week, couldn't wait for summer!
Phillipe , It has to melt up there soon ......... The 68 was out the other day and thats a good sign . :bglasses: :TU:
Hi Phil , I'm also very tired of snow:rant: but it melt not fast enough here . :af: The car was located in "Beauce" about 30 minutes from Quebec City . I'll try to get another shot of it this spring without snow ! :Brow: thanx all for your answer , keep guessing if ever I could see the model of the car i'll post here the answer . Donald
Donald, If you could open the door or the hood, look at the body number on the firewall or the serial number. On 66's the serial# is visible when you open the driver's side door, near the hinges on a stainless steel plate. Perhaps the nameplate is visible on the dash too.
John, Beauce is a region and St-Georges is a small town in this region. In fact, St-Georges is often called St-Georges-de-Beauce.
