Took this picture today. The wife's new 2020 Mustang GT, 460 horsepower and my 2011 Shelby GT500 with a VMP supercharger making around 750 horsepower. Ken
Thanks. I hear that a lot actually, and I agree. I don't like most 71-73 mustangs I see.. It's a tough one to get right and a really easy one to screw up. Owning it for 29 years has given me time to sort it out
Here is the 1974 Malibu Classic that has been in my family since new. My Grandad bought it at the Chevrolet dealer that he worked at, in New Jersey, as a car that someone had ordered and didn't want after it came in. Apparently someone made an error on the order form and selected a manual transmission. The customer wanted an automatic. He probably got a great deal on it. It is a stripper car, with the only options being power steering and the 350 CID V8. Originally it was a 3-on the tree. When he passed away in 1994, it was left to my uncle. He drove it down to Florida, kept it for a few months, and gave it to my younger brother, who was his godchild. His 2 daughters didn't want it. My brother had it until his passing in 2016. He asked that I take it, since I had helped him do a lot of work to it. We had put another 350 in the car, when the original one let go, converted it from a 3-speed to 4-speed with an early 70's Borg Warner transmission, added the gauges, and replaced a few clutches and carburetors. When I picked it up from where it was stored, one of the front calipers locked up after a mile or so. I guess it had been there for a while. It was towed to my girlfriend's garage where I rebuilt the brakes and front end. When she sold her house in 2018, it was transferred to the garage in my house in Pinellas Park, where is is now. Before I bought the GS400, in 2020, I had started to replace the intake, and ignition, trying to make it a more reliable car to drive. Being a former Jersey car though, it's got it's share of rust holes. When I bought the Buick, it kinda got pushed to the side, where I left off. Now I'm faced with having to move it again, as I am either going to sell or rent out this house. I now have to put the current projects with the GS400 on hold, to get this Malibu back to a running state again (and replace some other safety related items) so I can drive it to Zephyrhills (about 50 miles away). Once there, I have to figure out what I'm going to do with it. I really don't have the storage room and it doesn't have AC. We'll see how it goes, I guess. Keeping it around would be best for my soul. Just thought I would share, since this is what I'm working on today. Here is what it looked like in 2018 And here is what it looks like this morning... and Yes, that is a TV on top of it. LOL
Ordered this back in March and it showed up last week...got a couple of pictures with the buick today: Our first softball weekend (well with this truck at least):
Just picked this up two weeks ago. So far its been awesome. Getting ready to tow a Buick next week. Cant wait to feel the difference with this truck.
Thanks! Its takes a little to get used too. lol But it really rides like a dream. I cant even compare it to my last dually.
Sounds like a great truck, can't complain about a good riding dually! Mine is mostly just for highway comfort for our trips and also provides a very comfortable ride, we are very happy with it so far (it's my 4th ram though so pretty familiar with the brand). Thank you!
My original 1 of 4 GT350 Dominator Mustang produced by Summit Ford Back in 1984. My first new car I ever bought and still own. They guaranteed a 13.9 or quicker in the quarter. They sold around 2000 Dominator prepped Mustangs from 1982-1992.
New to me is this 95 Bronco sport. Exactly the way I would have ordered it new. It’s got a roll pan and a 4” lift. I love this truck! KID
I bought a black 94 Lightning new that got totaled 4 months later when someone pulled out in front of me. Replaced it with a black 95. Wish I still had it. Nice Bronco, my son's new daily driver is a 95 Bronco Eddie Bauer. He loves it.
My college roommate had a white one as well. He was willing to let it go for 5k. Being a broke college student I didn't have the cash. Man your trucks look super clean.
