Tapping more threads in shouldn't be overly difficult. I run a block saver and scatter shield with the 5-speed manual, so will likely be a bunch easier to go through the block :pp

Well what is done is done and I hope I haven't weakened any critical webbing. I ended up going through the starter mount webbing. I made sure the bevel the edges of the hole with a die grinder at least. Overall I'm pretty satisfied how it has turned out so far.

That is the direction it was facing when it tightened up firm and I really was concerned about taking it another 180, so that got me looking. I put a small amount of Ultra black RTV on the last two threads going into the block to help prevent a leak.

The tube goes right through the hole, doesn't touch the block at any point.

Clears the starter. I put a section of tube there that I will slide down into the hole and above the starter and likely stick it in place with a dab of black RTV on the tube. I am seriously considering going to a gear reduction/compact starter which will help clearance too.

And the lay of the land and clears the motor mount. I have a clamp holding it in place and just have to flare the other end and tie it into the oil pressure sending unit port. The only down side is the right cylinder head has to be removed in order to remove the line, so I need to make sure it's 100% good before I actually bolt the head down.

I finished up running the external oil line. It clears the exhaust decently enough as well. I drilled out the 90 fitting so it wasn't as bottled necked as it originally came. Before installing the engine in the car I'll pour two or three quarts of oil in and pressure test it.

It isn't you, the person who posted the pictures has to pay photobucket to once again host the pictures. That isn't happening for me. I pulled all my photos. Will have to have them hosted somewhere else.

Why would you use something to post a pic that would cost you money. Did I fall asleep for a few years and wake up to a different way of posting pics on V8 Buick

    Anson,

All of my pictures were posted to photobucket, and they actually hosted them, so they showed up here full screen. It was free, or you could opt for a paid subscription, that just got you to not have to deal with all the popup ads... I never cared for the thumbnail photos that vbulletin had. So I used photobucket. Luckily, I had signed up for the ad free verson when it was like $50 or something, earlier this year. That account has the vast majority of my photos posted here. Ironically I lost that login info, and had to start another account with them earlier this year, and the pictures I have posted with that account are now gone..

I read that my original account, because it was a paid subscription, will keep the pictures visible thru the end of the year, so I have time to go back and upload those pics directly to the board.

Is that the only or easiest way to get full screenshots? I thought thumb nails Jpeg pics could be uploaded at gifferent sizes? So why does it not show a pic on some and tell me I need to update my account. I no it has nothing to do with my account here so I avoid that

That's exactly what I did earlier this year, bought in. So far my pics are still showing up.

I did too, but it wasn't much, like $15 to get rid of the annoying ads.

:DWow you guys bought that? A few bucks here , a buck there, some more over there. You could be in the early stages of becoming a home shopping club addict.

No, for the short time I used it, the small fee I paid (you could be right Bob, could have been $15 or so) was well worth not having to wade thru the pop up ads. My time is worth more than that.

But no one here is going to pay $400 a year, that's insanity.

Yup, its basically ransomware now. I'm just going to sit back for a while to see if a competitor (flickr, google photos, etc) picks up the slack. Or if photobucket has a change of heart. Over the years I've moved my photo collection three times, I'm not so inclined to do it a fourth, nor am I coughing up $400.

I just checked and I paid $14.99 to make the ads go away. I think there are other packages available that add more storage and make the ads go away, for more money.

You can keep them on a memory stick. Just plug it in your USB . No pop ups

So you can keep your images on a memory stick? Who knew? How does that help get them on V8 or other sights that require hosting?

so v8 requires hosting now? Why need a host. You mean I cant host my own pics? If I take a pic with my phone or cam I am the host arent I . Am I missing something?
