Your cheepest 3-4 tenths would be the next size nitrous jets. Like the 150 Hp jet. You ain't making enough HP to hurt anything yet, especially with low-compression, stock junk.....

Think about some basic things. Headers are a must. Cheap 3way adjustable front shocks (summit-$27Ea). A basic MSD 6A or 6AL box will make a big difference since you already have HEI. If you are NOT running a stock hood, you can go to a 2" spacer and it will help as well. A stock hood and a 2" do not mix well.:Dou:
A converter will do wonders for you also. Even if it is only around 2500 stall it will make a difference.

Right now with the 750 it seems everytime I put more timing in it it goes faster and pulls higher. So far Ive done all this on the stock mechanical pump. I leaned out and killed a plug on the 150 setup....
I've since upgraded the fuel pump but am only running 5.5-6psi max. I'm going to put the car back on the dyno this week hopefully to see how it runs with the 750 vs the 670 that was on it.

I think I'll break down and just get the MSD box now as well.

Stock hood....so the 1" spacer is all there is room for with my 3" air cleaner carb stud is almost up agasint the hood now!!

PS Thanks guys. Its great to have a so many people willing to give good solid advice.

Get a fuel pressure safety switch and adjust it to a 5psi cutoff since you probably ran it low on fuel pressure on the 150 shot which burned your plug. If you are running stock NOS jetting for the plate then you can go as low as 4 3/4 on the cut off. :TU:

Unfortunatly had a last minute hiccup and wasn't able to go....cars fine. It was a people issue.

I'm going to push to make Cecil with the car in Octoboer I think.

I agree. Mechanical secondaries will give you .1 on your 60 ft's.

No track updates as of yet. The car will be out this spring with a 150 shot and the needed fuel stuff is done already. I think I might be able to squeak out a 12.00....on the bottle, and still stock long block/manifolds.
My 12.9 runs were with only 1.90 60 foot times, the car will 60 in the 1.7 range on slicks. So with another 50hp on the juice and .2 out of the hole...I know it will at least go 12.50, the question is how far below that I can get. Next time at the track will be another 20 passes and 2 bottle day!!!

If I had a single plane intake I'd hit the stock motor with a 250 shot and see how long it would hold together as well....

Try the Plastic Super Sucker carb plate. Cheap HP!

I figure I'd bring this back up to the top. I'm planning to be at Etown this sunday for the Buick weekend. The cars got 175 jets in it now...and some 28.5x10.5 slicks out back as well. We'll see what happens!!

175 jets and slicks? Sweet! You'll be in the 11's in no time!

Interesting video. I like!!! That means I can put the 250 jets in it!! On the down side, I'm having issues with the slicks. The rims I have are too narrow. I'm currently trying to borrow either a set of rims or a friends set of Slicks, 28x9s.

There will be some updates after Nov. 14. We have Atco Raceway rented for a private day.....The car is currently jetted with 71n and 63f and it hauls A$$!!! I have made many small changes to the car. My current limiting factor is the Nitrous solinoid failed on my cheater system and I currently have a Superpower shost solinoid on the car. I'm trying to borrow a solinoid so I can hit the car with the 250 shot.

I've got Greg Welds on the car, 15x10 rear and 15x3.5 front. 28x10.50 Mickey thompsons ET drags.

    MSD Digital 6 box
Its got 5w30 weight synthetic oil in it.
Going to pull the passenger seat and rear seat.
Nitrous is now wired to a WOT switch vs the button before.
    NGK plugs

I think the possiblity of a low 12, high 11 is realistic with a big enough hit....
If I can get the 60' down into the 1.6 range it might lift a tire!!

I have jets available up to 105....scary isn't it..

After this day at the track the car will most likely be completely torn down for all the needed body, paint, interior work neccesary.

Right on! So glad that you are going to try hitting that stock 350 a little harder. I'm rooting for ya!
