    This is the one that caught my eye: "..........yet 69,367 Gran Sports were sold in 1965."

    69,367 is the total of all 1965 Skylark post coupes, hardtops, and convertibles. I don't remember the number with the Gran Sport option, but it sure wasn't all of them!

    Yes, all the triple pea green 70 Malibu's for some reason didn't survive the 70's but all the 70 SS-396's in Cranberry red with black stripes faired pretty well:Dou:
