My GSX at Mecum Kissimmee

Just to let folks here know my GSX is to be auctioned January 23 2016. I just decided with the crazy money these have been bringing I would be crazy at least not to give it a shot. Someone here already figured out it was mine. Car is actually a non Stage 1 4spd. The rarest Gsx. When I retored it I decided to go with the stage1 look and heads etc. because I had the parts to do it and the Nos re chromed valve covers I have looked too good. I just swapped in some perfect red valve covers. I am swapping back the original 3.42 rear as well and taking out the 3.64. Most of the date codes on the engine are correct although block is not matching it is correct part number and date. No codes or vin are visible. Trans is correct but from another GS455. Car even has rare correct 4spd carb. I do not think there are many Gsxs out there that have been restored more correctly. You can check it out on Mecum site. Lot R571. I look forward to your input here.

Yours will be the benchmark for GSX value with a NOM, I am sure. It will be interesting.

nice car did mecum give you a ball park on what it should bring or did you come up with a price. i hear they put a lot of pressure on a person to sell when it gets close. good luck let us know how mecum treats you :TU:
