Your telling me. My first real experiece at the strip was in 63-4 with a guy running a 63 cat. We entered and ran in D stock as a 389, but in truth it was really a 421. They never knew what hit 'em.
Dave My wheel well moulding were missing when I bought the car. Well just the fronts do you want to part with any o No:
I do remember now Dave :eek2: I hope Alzheimer's doesn't kick in at an early age for me Anyways.........Monday I start truck driving school since there's no place nearby here in Bakersfield that'll let me fix their locomotives, once the income comes in and the new house is outta the way.................I'll get right back into Oldsmobiles :TU:
Wheel openings Noell: Which ones are missing? I'll see if I have duplicates for those or check with one of my "secret" freinds to see if he has that one (s). They'll probably need a little resto, but like I said, it's not that difficult. Good article in the latest Muscle Car Review on that. Happy New Year, all. Year is not starting well. Woke up with the water heater relief valve spraying all over the basement. Wonderful.
Update Color sanded with 3000, was just starting to wheel it out when I came in. My gawd this guy is good! Next stop for him is GM Tech Center where he's headed as a prototype fabricator and painter. Sure glad I found him (Rob's nephew). Like a black pearl.........................
And around the corner Spotted this in the old paint booth (this is a Chevy dealer). Nice 70 SS, 4 speed, big block with a blower..................
and this.......... I really like this. Belongs to the other guy in the body shop who's painting the Chevelle.
Wow your car is really looking nice Dave ! :TU: Look forward to seeing whichever one you bring to Byron and Norwalk.
