p.s.....WTC 7 was controlled demolition.....there is video of Giuliani coming out of it and being asked why he was leaving the command post in WTC7.....he said "we have been told they are going to ""pull the building""......video exists....but they have buried it.

 

Perhaps this thread should get locked. We're starting to drift off into lala land here.

Hmmm. Miami again, by coincidence. Just a few years ago this happened, blamed on the design (bridge was brand new) as I recall, couldn't have been the same architectural firm of course...

 

This reminded me we're approaching the 40th anniversary of the collapse of the Kansas City Hyatt Regency hotel 2nd and 4th floor suspended walkways. That was a failure caused by an already bad design made worse by a hastily approved design change by a vendor that doubled the load on the upper walkway and made them both collapse. I hope something similar didn't happen here.

 

How does the collapse of a 40-year-old building that was built before modern building codes get us into conspiracy theory? C'mon guys! Can't we discuss something rationally?
Update - I watched the camera video of the collapse again today. Those flashes of light are clearly electrical arcs as the wiring in the building was ripped apart.

I see personal attacks, and the unmistakable odor of bullcrap somehow suddenly wafts around.

 

Its because is they are being called out its their only line of defense... When in full blown panic... I just let GOD sort them out.. Gate to heaven is a narrow path..

I think that it would be more accurate to replace the top line with "many of us will never believe the truth about anything that is happening these days."

That’s chicken feed. There likely will be a hundred dead (at several million per) plus the survivors’ actual and emotional damage, the owners of the remaining units, plus the added suits from anyone who owns in a building built by this company (diminished value) or inspected by the city. Then every resident in the city who breathed dust or washed it out of their clothes or off their cars will have respiratory issues, that could go for years. Add in every structure that has a cracked sidewalk or racking door…it’s gonna be a circus; may even see law clerks suing over paper cuts!

My former daughter-in-law and my 9 year old grandson live in Champlain Towers North. It was Champlain Towers South that collapsed. The two buildings are identical in every respect and built at the same time. The authorities are debating if they will let the residents remain in the North Tower. Fortunately, my grandson and his mom were out of the country when it happened. I am glad my grandson did not have to see it. The scene is horrific. Many lives lost and there will be lawsuits for many years to come. I would also expect there will be criminal negligence charges at some point.

 

I know that logically this was a one in a million event, but I’d be getting the f#<£ out and keeping my receipts and talking to a lawyer. No way I’d stay another night there.
