That's a nice rare car there, i'm just wondering what the hell took so long for it to show up 8 months after it was ordered? Ordered in January, built in June and delivered in September? Holy moly is that slow, i wouldn't have wanted it either at that point.

I remember a friend of mine ordered a new '74 Z28 Camero in late '73 & waited an extradinary amount of time for it to finally be delivered.

Anyone else recall this car? I think I spoke with the owner once decades ago.

Spotted the car at the Bash last year… it was stunning and definitely eye catching!

The factory was a bit terrible back then. That is how George Hall got his 74 Stage 1 a customer ordered the car but came in wrong. SO another one was ordered for him. The one George bought just sat for a while until he purchased it.

My 73 Stage 1 came with a chrome grill and headlight doors, and 455 emblems on the fenders. The 73 featured in the Bud Linderman road test is equipped the same way.

I'm out. Hard to justify over $50K for a '71 with a tribute GSX restoration.

Car was bid up to $40k but didn’t hit the reserve, pretty strong money!

Saw John's black car today @ Indy Mecum. If you like your black cars laser straight, and who doesn't, you won't be disappointed in this car...first rate workmanship!
