In Dayton Ohio and asking $250 + shipping for these. They are in great shape as the pictures should show. I can get dimensions on them if it helps. Very little run time on these with the engine I bought them on. I can ship UPS or USPS & I do have a paypal account--- Im sure i can find a fedex drop off if you prefer.

grinding?? I have no idea what you are talking about.... ? I got these on an engine I bought already put together. I took them off and put my old valve covers on pretty early on.... for clearance reasons(??)-- I honestly dont recall for sure now. They were gorgeous and I remember being anxious to have the car running with these on it, but I never "ground" on them...... Is there something Im missing? I dont have time now, but I will have to dig them back out and inspect them--- I dont recall any grinding marks, but I was in a hurry.....??

When these get polished on the top surface sometimes the guys go too deep with coarse resurfacing material. Just eyeball them for me. More than likely ill take them

Guy keep in mind I'm viewing from my phone but note the lack of separation between the nn on the top cover

    Herb-
    Maybe you don't know this?
But that is the way they came from KB. The non black wrinkle covers from KB were polished pretty well...I had a set like them.
Looks to be a good deal!:TU:

BTW I'm not in line...just helping out

Herb...... You should have the mods just set up a sticky for you stating " interested in all parts for sale"- then you could just pass on the ones you don't want! Lol. Does your phone call you when there is a new post in the parts for sale section? :Dou:

I really do agree that 'Fred W' and 'Herb' have all this figured out... :puzzled: technically speaking, their Ifones must be directly linked to V8 Parts Wanted!!! Hehehe! :bla: :TU:

Actually, BostonGSX, you are Third in line. You asked a question about "grinding" in your first post. I dont know how you make deals in Boston, but asking a question is quite different than confirming a sale to me.
John would be first. eganddg would be second.

Guy Parquette, THANKS for the confirmation. I have seen these blacked out, but knew they came as pictured here. Thank you sir.

Thanks for the interest all, this will help with the xmas fund immensely!

Here are the rules for posting an item for sale here.

Default ATTENTION*****V8 Buick Classified Ad Policy*****ATTENTION

    Effective Jan 1 2006

In the past, an "honor system" has been used in the parts and cars for sale forums. This policy has existed since the board's inception but recently it has been pointed out that violations of this policy have occured, so this post is intended to clarify the policy, and remove all questions concerning it. As of the effective date above, this policy will be strictly enforced.

Our policy dictates that if you list a part or car for sale, you will in good faith adhere to the following:

Post a price for the item being offered.
Post a location of the item.
Work with the interested parties to complete the sale, in the order that they showed interest in your item. This interest must be shown with a public reply to your thread, Personal Messages (PM's) or emails are not acceptable communication requirements for "getting in line" to purchase an item. We suggest 48 hours as an acceptable time period to allow interested parties to contact you privately.
If the first user who responds to your ad does not complete the sale, you move onto the second person who responded, and so on and so forth down the list, until the item is sold. This list is dictated soley by the public replies to your ad.
You will not accept other offers or negotiate outside of these guidelines.
You will not refuse to sell the item to anyone, for any reason, unless a moderator or the board administrator is involved and Ok's the denial.

A "zero tolerance" policy is in place for users who fail to adhere to the guidelines, and approriate action will be taken. Investigation of such situations will be handled by me, the board owner and administrator. Click my username in the upper LH corner of this post to send me a PM regarding any such situation.

The V8 Buick.com classifieds are intended for the use of our established members, and are free to these individuals. Car dealers and parts resellers may be subject to an advertising fee. Contact me for further details.

Thank you for your attention, and good luck on your sale.
